In HTML, section headings and subheadings are done with the H tags. In Wiki, these are done with equal signs.

Any page that contains four or more headings will also automatically generate a Table of Contents. This can be suppressed using the NOTOC compiler directive.

H1 is defined and supported but should NEVER be used as this is the font size that is used for the page title line.

Wikipedia supports H6 but we do not.
