Turbine Points (TP) are a currency you buy with real-world money and then spend in the LotRO Store to buy in-game items. TP can also be earned in-game by completing Deeds. Some quests also award TP.

To purchase Turbine Points, visit the LotRO Store and click on the ADD POINTS button (to the right of Your Points).

Opening weekend, the TP prices were as follows:

• 400TP +20 (bonus)=420 for $6.50 - base: .0163 - with bonus: .0154
• 1200TP +350 (bonus)=1550 for $19.50 - base: .0163 - with bonus: .0126
• 1820TP +680 (bonus)=2500 for $29.50 - base: .0162 - with bonus: .0118
• 3100TP +3800 (bonus)=6900 for $49.99 - base: .0161 - with bonus: .0072

The "normal" pricing appears to be as follows:

• 400TP +20 (bonus)=420 for $6.50 - base: .0163 - with bonus: .0154
• 1200TP +350 (bonus)=1550 for $19.50 - base: .0163 - with bonus: .0126
• 1820TP +680 (bonus)=2500 for $29.50 - base: .0162 - with bonus: .0118
• 3100TP +1900 (bonus)=5000 for $49.99 - base: .0161 - with bonus: .0099

Our template, LotRO Coin, used to display amounts throughout the wiki, bases it's display of real-world currency value based on the $26.50 package's base cost (without the bonus ) of $.0162/TP.
