Test
Most MMORPGs have one or more servers that are designated as Test servers. This is where content is tested, usually by regular players, before it is released or "patched" to the Live servers.
Most Test servers have their own population of players that prefer to play the new content before everyone eklse, and actually enjoy helping the devs iron out the bugs. Test servers tend to be alot friendlier than Live servers due to the small population and the need to group to accomplish anything major.
