Template:CQuest  

The items in this collection can be found by collecting ground-spawn yellow shinies with a ? over them in the zones listed unless noted differently below in the list of Items in this Collection.

When the collection is complete, you can turn it in to any Collector NPC for your reward and a very nice chunk of experience.

Note: if applying the new fields to an existing instance of {{cquest}}, remember you can keep it horizontal and just add the 4 new fields, or you can take it vertical but if you do the last line MUST be |}}

type= is one of:

• C - Corpse Drop
• E - Purple shinies from live events. Adds to Category:EQ2 Purple Collections.
• H - Hidden blue shinies. Also adds to Category:EQ2 Blue Collections.
• L - Named pages (for Language tomes, usually) Also adds to Category:EQ2 Named Page Collections.
• P - Tome collections that consist of pages and result in books. Also adds to Category:EQ2 Tome Collections.
• R - Red (tradeskill earring) shinies (GU46) Also adds to Category:EQ2 Red Collections.
• RE2 - Hidden blue shinies requiring A Gigglegibber Courting Hat to see. Also adds to Category:EQ2 Blue Collections.
• X - Special; fits into no other known category. These should always have a description on how to find them. Adds to Category:EQ2 Special Collections
• DB - Dark Blue shinies, introduced with Destiny of Velious, and currently require a flying mount to reach the majority of them. Also adds to Category:Dark Blue Collections.
• G - Green shinies, introduced with Destiny of Velious and currently only appearing after participating in a successful public quest. Also adds to Category:Green Collections.
• default is a normal yellow shiny with a ? over it. Also adds to Category:EQ2 Yellow Collections.

name=

the name of the page IF type=L, such as a scattered page

bind=

If defined, this collection must be taken to a book binder before it can be turned in.

expansion=

if type=H. Single word switch to define the goggles.

• faydwer, if Echoes of Faydwer. This is the default and will be used if expansion= is not defined.
• kunark, if Rise of Kunark
• shadow, if The Shadow Odyssey

bid=

If not blank, this collection results in a book, the complete text of which can be read at The Athenaeum

if type= is blank or not in the list, expansion names the expansion this collection comes from. Default is Category:The Shattered Lands Collection Quests. Valid values are (case insensitive):

• splitpaw or ss
• bloodline or bc
• desert or dof
• tfd or mara
• echoes or eof
• kunark or rok
• shadow or tso
• sentinel or sf
• DoV

With Sentinel's Fate we have expanded the format of CQuest, adding 4 new fields: category=

(required) This is the category displayed in the journal. IF expansion=RoK or newer, and category is undefined, a form of the expansion name is used as a default.

level=

(required) The recommended level of the collection from the journal.

zones=

(optional, commalist)

pois=

(optional, commalist)

This template is for EverQuest II only. All quests using this template are also be added to Category:EQ2 Collection Quests and Category:EverQuest II.
