Sphinx (EQ2 Mob Race)  

Sphinxes are winged, catlike creatures the inhabit the Desert of Ro, Plane of Sky and other places where magic is in abundance. There are three varieties of sphinx: the Androsphinx with a humanoid head, the Criosphinx with a ram's head, and the Heiracosphinx with a falcon head. Each court of Maj'Dul (except Tears) has a sphinx variety as a symbol of their court. The Androsphinx is the Court of Truth's sphinx, the Criosphinx is the sphinx of the Coin, and the Court of Blades' symbol is the Heiracosphinx. A court's sphinx variety can be seen in its Sentinel and its sphinx housepet that can be purchased from the court bursar.
