Spec

Spec (short for specialization) refers to the fine-tuning done to a character to maximize his performance in a specific role for groups or raids.
Respecing or A Respec (not available in all games) is a reset of all or most of your abilities, returning any points that were used, so that you can redesign his Spec. In some games you have to buy a special item that, when used, resets all your points so you can Respec.
