With GU56 you are no longer required to visit a Sokokar post before being able to travel to it. Most sokokar posts now interconnect: See the indivitual Sokokar Post pages for connection information. Sokokar Stations, like the other mount stations, are an alternative way to move quickly through the zones in Rise of Kunark. With GU 56 you'll speak to a sokokar tamer instead of clicking the sokokar hitching post to travel.

Getting a Sokokar

In order to use the Sokokar Posts, you must first have a pet sokokar. With GU56 you'll no longer have to have it with you, but you do have to complete one of the following quest series.

1. Cutting Your Teeth by Cutting Theirs (68) - Kill: 24 drolvarg scavengers
2. A Watchful Eye (69) - Release An Essarr Hawk near Karnor's Castle
3. My Enemy's Enemy (69) - Speak with the hill giant, Hrodryr
4. Lynchpin's Abduction (70) - Rescue the sokokar, Lynchpin, from the drolvarg.
5. Here in my Sokokar I Feel Safest of All (70) - Fly Lynchpin to Teren's Grasp and talk to Stewlin Vincent to get your very own pet sokokar!
