Analysis
Sleep is a harmful status effect that prevents movement, the ability to attack an opponent, or the use of spells or job abilities until it wears off or is removed.
Sleep caused by Diabolos's Nightmare ability is unaffected by physical damage and by damage over time effects.
How to remove the effect
- Cure-type spells remove the effect (e.g. Cure-Cure V, Wild Carrot, Magic Fruit).
- Being hit by physical damage will remove the effect.
- Damage inflicted by a DoT effect, (e.g. Poison, Dia, Bio, Foe Requiem, or an elemental debuff effect such as Choke will remove the effect, unless the character is protected by Stoneskin.
- Sublimation will remove this effect, unless the character is protected by Stoneskin.
Cancelling Stoneskin whilst DoT'd, will wake up a character up immediately.
