Shadowed Men (EQ2 Quest Series)

This is a crossover quest series. All or most of the quests listed below also appear in other quest series pages, generally attached to the zone they start or take place in. We are gathering them here to start to piece together a timeline for the Shadowed Men's activities on Norrath.
Nektulos Forest
Nektulos Forest seems to be the only place on Norrath where Shadowed Men can be found not in the vicinity of either a Tower or a portal to The Obelisk of Lost Souls. There is no explanation for this, but they are found in plentiful numbers in the small valley surrounding the D'Morte Burial Chamber at 678, 2, -617 .
The Obelisk of Lost Souls
This tower, also known as the Tower of Vul, appears to be the only tower from the original invasion at the start of The Lost Age. It has access points in Antonica, The Commonlands, Nektulos Forest, The Thundering Steppes, and The Feerrott.

Remembrances
The following Book Quests are all started by examining a book of the same name that is randomly dropped by any Shadowed Man:

Each book tells a story of a world visited by one of the Shadowed Men's Towers, except for Nyalla-Phon which appears to be the minutes of a meeting of the Shadowed Men's governing council.
Each book quest requires you to kill 90 mobs to "find" the missing pages. Each group of 10 kills finds a page, requiring you to stop and read the book again to unlock the next kill task. Every 30 kills moves you on to a different mob to hunt.
If you are fortunate enough to find more than one book and want to try to minimize the hunting to complete all of them, the following table shows the mob groups that must be hunted for each and the order they must be done in, highlighting the overlaps.

Obelisk of Blight
There are no quests that originate within the Obelisk of Blight, also known as the Tower of Zet, and only 2 quests that take you there. That is not to say there are not things about the Shadowed Men that we can learn here.
Into the Shadowed Grove has you exploring the Obelisk to find and read 6 scrolls. Each of the scrolls give us some new insight into the actions and activities of the Shadowed Men.
- The Shadowed Men are infiltrating the Fae.[1]
- The Shadowed Men intend to subvert and inhabit a dragon![2] It is highly possible that this is a very old note and the dragon referred to is Tarinax the Destroyer.[3]
The Hidden Crystal is the 7th quest in the Goddess, Orb, and Void Quest Series, a signature quest series.

The Shadow Odyssey
Obelisk of Ahkzul
Here we find the Staff of Theer and learn of "The Desolate One", Anashti Sul. We embark upon a quest, The Shadow Odyssey, Chapter 5: Breaking the Chains, to find the 7 missing runes of the Staff of Theer and destroy the Anchor of the Obelisk of Ahkzul.
Anchor of Bazzul
As Chapter 5 continues, we travel to Bazzul to use the staff to destroy that anchor as well.
