You must be at least Level 46 to receive this quest.
You need Deadly Poison Powder x8 (Rdb). To get these, attack the Deadland Sand Scorpion Pupa (Rdb). The Deadland Sand Scorpion Pupa (Rdb) cannot move or attack you. When the sac bursts a Male Sand Scorpion Larva (Rdb) or Female Sand Scorpion Larva (Rdb) (46-48, looks like a slug) will emerge and attack you! When it is dead, loot it for the Powder (uncommon drop). Plan to spend some time doing this. A Luck Potion or Lucky Frog may help the drop rate. The Frog definitely does help.Very rarely there will be no Larva and the powder will just be there where the sac was, looking like a small version of Smelly Dirt. Gather it quick! Also, the Sac or the Larva can also have normal trash loot.
One more thing... the Pupa has a significant regen so if you lack the DPS or you slack off mid-fight it will regen to full quickly!
