Ping (WoW)
Ping is the delay in your internet connection. An extremely low ping (below 150 ms) is going to result in very minimal time delay between selecting actions and when they actually occur. At higher delays, time-sensitive actions such as emergency healing may not go off nearly quickly enough in spite of your reaction speed. This is especially important in PvP, notably the Arena.
