Two new quest series, one each for both good and evil aligned players, were introduced in GU57. Tradeskillers who have achieved at least level 10 can begin these quests with the appropriate aligned representative in the City of New Halas in the Frostfang Sea. These quests not only get players involved with establishing a relationship between the tradeskill societies and New Halas, but also will unlock the Tier 2 (levels 10-19) advanced recipe books and a bonus recipe scroll.

New players should not confuse this series with the introduction to tradeskilling. If you are just beginning to learn the art of crafting in Frostfang Sea, then refer to our New Halas Tradeskill Tutorial guide.

Good Aligned

Speak to Envoy Tami Swifthammer at 62, 153, -130 Copy inside the Erronson's Furs and Leathers shop to begin this series.

When you have completed all nine quests, Tami will remain in Erronson's Furs and Leathers and be available as a merchant who sells the Tier 2 advanced recipe books. Additionally, you will also be able to pick up the Ironforge Exchange Basic Recipes from the table next to Tami by clicking on the book at 62,153,-130 Copy . This recipe scroll has three new house items in it that any tradeskill class can create.

Evil Aligned

Speak to Commissioner Varla Z'Velran at -61, 139, 274 Copy inside the White Lodge to begin this series.

After completing all nine quests, Commissioner Varla Z'Velran becomes a recipe merchant who will sell you Tier 2 advanced books. If you choose to not purchase her books before she departs New Halas, you can find her in Neriak, City of Hate at -159,-5,254 Copy .
