Mudshell's battle has only one creature that is attackable within it -- Mudshell itself. Occasionally, Mudshell will place a bubble of water around you that makes you begin drowning and prevents you from attacking or using any abilities. The way to defeat this is to get in front of a Snapping Turtles mouth, as shown in the video link (see right side of page), and that will pop the bubble! Chances are you will also be healing a lot in between dishing out the damage and taking care of the water bubble, so make sure you don't use up all of your knockouts!

Mudshell will disappear after someone enters its battle, and will not re-appear for about 8-15 minutes. He is commonly found in the southern portion of Blackspore, either near the Ancient's Wall or the Sinking Graveyard.
