< Crafting

Mining is one of three Gathering professions, and harvests Minerals (Ore and Gems). Miners do not use their own products but supply them to others. The professions most in need of Miners are: Armorsmith, Artificer, and Weaponsmith.

• Harvesting Mineral nodes can yield Ore and gem containers.
• Mineral nodes are found almost exclusively on rocks. This can be a cliff face, a small rock on the ground or a huge boulder.
• No special tools are required.
• Use the Forge to smelt Ore into Bars.

Beginning with path 1.6 Miners can now mine ore from the corpses of Earth Elementals, Orelings and Golems. The ore thus mined will be commensurate with the ore nodes available in the zone.
