Magic Potency  

General Information

• A merited skill that increases damage dealt by spells by essentially adding a Magic or Physical Attack Bonus depending on the type of spell concerned.

Black Mages and Elemental Potency

• Black Mages can merit Magic Potency to enhance their elemental magic damage.
• Only 6 of the 8 elements may be upgraded in total, each upgrade will result in a Magic Attack Bonus of +2 per merit with a cap of +10.

Blue Mages and Physical Potency

• Blue Mages can merit their Physical Potency to increase the damage done with their physical spells.
• Each merit for this trait adds an additional 2 physical potency, which is said to be the same as Attack Power in this case.
