KOS (abbrev.) - Kill On Sight
Abbreviation common among gamers, referring to a Mob that is aggressive to you and will attack you the moment you come within its Aggro Range.
In games that include Faction as a game mechanic you can often work to improve your faction with the particular mob so that you are no longer KOS to them. Of course, not all mobs care who you know or who your daddy is... they are hungry, tired of being patient, and by Gum they are gonna kill something! May as well be you...
