Guild Tasks (FFXIV)
Guild Tasks are a new system added with patch 1.17a on April 25, 2011. This system introduces a basic style-fetch quest for Disciples of the Land and Hand. Each Earth day, the guilds of Eorzea require items for adventurers to turn in. These requested items will vary based on the rank of the task.
Initiating a Guild Task
Each Guild Task is assigned by a respective guild. Tasks for Leatherworkers will be assigned in Gridania, etc. There are two ways to discover what the daily Task item will be:
- Visit the Task Board in your cities Adventurer's Guild. This will list all local Guild Task for all ranks.
- Visit the respective guild in person and speak to the Guild Task Master.
Once you've discovered your daily item, you simply need to speak to the Task Master with the item(s) in your inventory. Clicking the option to hand the item(s) in will complete the daily task, and you will be given your reward. Note that HQ items do count as turn-ins.
