Can I Copy one of my Live characters to the Public Test Shard?

Yes. Go to the Character Select screen, click Transfer, then click the Copy to PTS button on the bottom-right. Click OK, then type COPY and click Transfer. The warnings are a little odd but is is OK, you are NOT transferring, you are Copying!
