Farshire (WoW)  

Farshire is the remains of a hamlet found close to Valiance Keep in Borean Tundra.

Unlike much of Borean Tundras landscape, the mines and farmlands surrounding this hamlet were once situated on arable land and provided a regular flow of goods to the mighty keep but with the coming of the Scourge, the town and its inhabitants were all but consumed. According to some sources, the start of the corruption in this town began when infiltrators from the Cult of the Damned supplied Plagued Grain to the town's workers and militia.

Today, deep in the mines, Captain Jacobs and his footmen control access to the remaining stores of ore while, in what remains of the farmland, the remnants of the Farshire Militia fight Scourge ghouls for control.
