Running the whole way through skipping as many mobs as possible will earn approximately 330 . You will still be able to complete the Bonus goal running through the instance this way.

The Man-eating Plants are mobile. The Spiked Plants, however, don't tend to move unless you go out of range or sight of their ranged attack, and boy is their ranged attack nasty; in other words, stay in melee range of the Spiked Plants you aggro whenever possible.
