The continent of Faydwer has undergone quite a lot of changes in the last 500 years. Things may seem out of place if you haven't seem this place since EverQuest.

Kaladim has been siezed and now is in the possession of Kobolds and Bugbears! Ak`anon has been overrun with Clockworks and the gnomes lost control! Kelethin is now the home of the new player race The Fae! A small winged race now lives among the great tree city! Felwithe is now a more strict place to live. Something runs amuck in the night. It seems a Vampire presence is active.

Mistmoore! Ah yes, our resident vampire is back for more action in this installment. He has clues to the end of Norrath! Partake in the Swords of Destiny questline to recover the Soulfire and to learn about Norrath's Fate.

This expansion also brought us back to Diety worship. The God's favor has returned to Norrath for players to worship. Tunare, Mithaniel Marr, Quellious, Rallos Zek, Cazic Thule, Innoruuk, Solusek Ro and Brell Serilis are the first to return!
