Charm Status Effect (FFXI)
| Contents [hide] |
Analysis
Charm is a harmful status effect, cast by monsters, that causes the affected player or players to attack whoever the monster is currently engaged in combat with. A charmed player's pets will be despawned automatically, with any recast timers being unaffected, and the player will suffer a reduced movement speed, similar to weight. Any TP gained whilst under this effect wears off when the effect does.
Note: Players under the effect of charm may be attacked by other players as if they were NPC monsters. However, no experience points are lost if a player is defeated whilst under the charm effect. Players under the charm effect are also unable to access any in-game commands, except for chat.
How to Remove This Effect
This effect cannot be removed. The affected player must wait until it wears off.
