Bleeding (WoW)
Bleeds are abilities that cause the target to take damage over time. The damage caused by these abilities is physical but is not mitigated by armor. Examples of such abilities include a Warrior's Rend, or a Rogue's Rupture.
Bleeds are commonly used in PvP to prevent target's from entering stealth or bandaging.
