Artisan (EQ2 Profession)
Artisan is the basic tradeskill profession for all new characters. Upon reaching tradeskill level 9 you make a decision to become one of the three subclasses: Craftsman, Outfitter or Scholar.
Artisans can craft any type of level 1-9 (tier 1) handcrafted or mastercrafted item. Many live event, quest and tradeskill faction recipe books are also listed for the Artisan profession so that any tradeskill class can create the items.
