Naldiq & Vymelli's

"Founded by legendary cannonwright Theor Naldiq and renowned shipwright Bryce Vymelli, this well–respected establishment’s forges have provided the steel plating and weaponry of nearly every ship to have braved the Navigator’s briny demesne. However, the recent upturn in adventurer activity has led the company to expand their repertoire to include basic blades and armor, and latterly to open their doors to aspiring crafters through the creation of both a Blacksmiths’ and an Armorers’ Guild."

Located in Limsa Lominsa, the Armorers' Guild can be found in Naldiq & Vymelli's, in the southern area of the Upper Decks.

About The Guild

"Armorers do as their name states: provide armor for those in need of armoring. However, creating a durable piece of armor, whether it be a soldier's shield or protective siding for a battle frigate, requires time and finesse. Hard metal plates must be caressed into smooth curves. Thousands of tiny chains must be woven into massive sheets. These can all be accomplished with an armorer's wide array of tools, each designed to guide a craftswoman to the completion of her creation. Though, different tools will often produce different results." - Notrelchamps

Completing Armorer Local Levequests can earn you Guild Marks, which allow you to purchase various items from Notrelchamps, the Armorers' Guild Mark Vendor, located within Naldiq & Vymelli's. A list of available wares and their prices are listed below.

Guild Vendor

Various items can be purchased with Gil from Joellaut, the Armorers' Guild Vendor, located within Naldiq & Vymelli's. These include tools used by Armorers, and other various goods related to Armoring. A list of available wares and their prices are listed below.

Guild Facilities

Joellaut also offers use of the Guild's Facilities to Armorers who are in need of support in their synthesis. Common, Guild, and Master Armorer's Forge support is available for a small fee, which increases as your Armorer Level increases. Currently, some recipes have a "recommended" level of support, which will have a negative impact on your synthesis if you choose not to obtain the proper level of support. On a side note, you can obtain Common Armorer's Forge support from Repair NPCs, and various Camps across Eorzea.

Guild Tasks

"Th' Admiral's got us workin' the forges day and night, readyin' the armada fer somethin' big. Left our stockhouses bare as a whore's back end, it has, but the guilds ain't got the manpower t' plenish 'em. 'Tis why the forgemaster started postin' tasks on the wall o' th' Wench. Might ye be interested?" ~ Bodenolf

Guild Tasks are simple quests in which the guild requests the adventurer to bring various items to the guild in exchange for a reward. Currently only Level 1 and Level 10 Guild Tasks are available. The requested item changes daily, and the reward varies. (Gil, Shards, etc.) You can find out which Tasks are available by either talking to Bodenolf or by examining Task Boards around Limsa Lominsa.

Guild Quests

As you level your Armorer, you will be able to undertake various quests that will require your talents as an Armorer. These quests follow a storyline that revolves around the Armorers' Guild and your role as an Armorer in Eorzea. Although an awful lot of work may be involved in completing these quests, the rewards are well worth the effort. Below is a brief summary of the available quests, with links to lead you to their respective pages, where you can find more specific information, if you require assistance in completing your assigned task.

NOTE: These guild quests are shared between Armorer and Blacksmith. If you do one as Armorer, you will not be able to do the same one as Blacksmith. Therefore the Guild Mark rewards can only be obtained once on which ever Class you choose to do the quest as.
