Although this instance is for 35+ it would be very hard to actually finish the access quest, Lepharist Poison Research, at that level unless you have the help of legionmates considerably higher than you. Still, the XP would be incredible inside but I doubt you could finish the zone. The sweet spot seems to be an average group level of 39-40.

With a 30 minute lockout (from the time you entered) you could conceivably do this instance many times a day with the right group.

There is a quest required for initial access to this zone. If you never get that quest, Asmodians above level 38 and Elyos above level 35 can enter regardless.

Patch 1.9 increased the drop rates for the boss monsters in this zone.

When you enter you are faced with 2 doors, but both lead to the Commons.

Commons

The 2 mobs standing by the Gatekeeper (43 4-dot Elite) will path to the steps. Wait for them to move there to pull them without adding the Gatekeeper.

The 2 mobs standing to either side of the Hero can be pulled singly.

Mudthorn Lab

Boss: Hungry Mudthorn (43 4-dot Hero)
