So no info on triggering the war?

She has about 900hp. I killed her with 1 nuke and 1 arrow. no faction hit. Conned green to 67. UNTRACKABLE.

What was weird is that, earlier in the day in the Epic 1.5 discussion channel, someone mentioned Kindl Lundsight spawning and despawning repeatedly every couple minutes.
Just now, as I killed the fairy, I checked track and there was a NEW mob up, Salani Tunfar, in the place Kindl was de/spawning.
I hailed her and she said 'Cant some elven woman get a drink without some adventurer hitting on her?! Really!!'

Not sure if it was coincidence or not.

although it says that they spawn in GFay, I havn't seen one.....Your best bet is to take a stroll to the steamfont mountians. They spawn alot there

Here is what I have found. In GFay, just north of the Wizard Spires are two new NPCs. Stefan Marsinger is sitting, and his sister Seana Marsinger is standing next to him. Here is the text:

You say, 'Hail, Stefan Marsinger'
Stefan Marsinger says 'Salutations, my name is Stefan Marsinger. My sister Seana and I are here on quite a mission for the League of Antonican Bards as well as our own interests.'

I tried all sorts of variations on mission, interests, Bards, etc. and got nothing more from Stefan. Here is Seana's text:

You say, 'Hail, Seana Marsinger'
Seana Marsinger says 'Hello, my name is Seana Marsinger. I am here representing my loyalty to the League of Antonican Bards. It matters not to me whether you support the League or loathe it propaganda is not my objective. Everyone must find their own truths in this life path, so says Quellious. To business then, are you [familiar with the Plane of Hate?]'

You say, 'I am familiar with the Plane of Hate'

Seana Marsinger says 'Good, I need someone that has a bit of an eye for how things should look up there. My brother and I have been studying Innoruuk and his intricate dealings for years. Being raised in New Tanaan may lend us certain neutrality towards all people, yet the values our parents have instilled in us do not allow us to let him go unwatched. In fact, I have begun to believe that my paranoia may prove useful not only to the League, but to the Citizens of Tranquility and New Tanaan itself as well. We have received a simple [piece of intelligence] that may conceivably upset the entire balance of the Pantheon and have most dire repercussions here in Norrath.'

You say, 'What intelligence?'

Seana Marsinger says 'An old friend of our father's in Qeynos, Jusean Evanesque, has been very busy sorting out the information that is coming to him in droves. The first clue came from Kardin Nillic in Gunthak, and then in bits and pieces from many travelers moving through Qeynos. Piracy on the seas has grown, and somehow the Broken Skull Clan has gained power that should have been out of their grasp. Our informants there say that it can only come from Innoruuk. I am afraid that the Plane itself has shifted with this power. I do not believe that we will be able to uncover all that we need [alone] in time to warn people of the dangers.'

You say, 'Why are you alone?'

Seana Marsinger says 'Our parents are back in Qeynos assisting Jusean with all that needs to be verified and ensuring that the League's network contacts are all still viable. They will need to stay there in case we must get the word out quickly. I do not believe that any of the residents of Tanaan would approve of our little quest, and would view it as biased. Thus we are here alone. Does this type of project [interest] you?'

You say, 'I am interested'

NOTE THAT THE TEXT HERE CHANGES FROM SEANA TO STEFAN!!!! Neither I nor another guildmate of mine noticed this subtle change.

Stefan Marsinger takes a moment to size you up. 'You appear to be a practitioner of pure magic, am I correct?'

You say, 'You are correct'

Stefan Marsinger says 'I believe it is safest if you study those who have similar interests as yourself. Travel to the Plane of Hate and observe the revenant, the ashenbone drake, and the loathing lich. They seem to be the main practitioners of your art in the least dangerous area. My interaction with these creatures has been mostly at a distance, and I am not as familiar with them as I would like. If you survive long enough to uncover some type of signet that proves you have been studying these creatures, and truly wish to aid with this cause, bring it to me along with some vampire dust and a diamond. I can craft you protective item and may have some further work for you to do.'

When I gave my items (No Drop Minor Signet of Dark Sorcery I got from an Ashenbone Drake in Plane of Hate, Vampire dust from a Forsaken Revenant in Plane of Hate, and a diamond) to SEANA (who I thought I was talking to), I got:

Seana Marsinger says 'I have no need for this item Elanore, you can have it back.'

It gave me back my signet, but ate my vampire dust and diamond.

After discussing with my guild, I got another vampire dust and diamond, and turned them in to STEFAN Marsinger and got:

Stefan Marsinger inspects the items closely before transforming them into a small glimmering jewel. 'That should help a bit. My studies are coming along rather well, although it is still far too early to decipher what is going on for certain. Do you wish to venture further into the plane and do some more [work] for me?'
You receive 9 platinum from Stefan Marsinger.

I received 'Gem of Sorcery' (looks like a non-stackable peridot icon):

Stefan Marsinger says 'Wonderful. Return to the plane and continue your studies of the demons of magic. With the new information you have brought I believe we have a good framework of reference for the lower rankings of these beings, however there is another echelon of power that I will need to be familiar with. Seek out the minions of magic that seem to take Dark Elven form. These would be the sages, warlocks, and sorcerers. All of these creatures should be within your area of study, but take care! You may even find some that follow your particular discipline if that makes you more comfortable. Make sure to keep your protection with you at all times. Some of them should have a kind of Etched Sorcerer's Crest symbolizing their rank; bring me this crest and some hatebone drake bones, along with your Gem of Sorcery. If you succeed in this task you are more valuable than I could have imagined, and I may need your skill with a final reconnaissance errand.'

So the quest does work, but you must give the items to Stefan, if you are an INT caster. I am not certain which one you would give your items to if you are a WIS caster, a melee, or a hybrid - I would suggest you watch the text to see who is speaking to you for the turn-in. Also, the turn in itmes (and mobs you get them off of) are differnet for WIS caster, INT caster, melee and Hybrid.

Not sure if this is related cause it was awhile back now, but someone was asking about the Third Fragment (I think) over in EC. I didn't ask for details, but she said she had looted a scroll and wondered what the first two fragments were and what the quest involving them was. No one I know had answers that day, but maybe this helps. Has anyone checked the Odus continent?

Try hitting the Widow Hatchlings - they drop the woven spider silk almost every other kill. They are also the supplier for spiderling silks to make the silk cord for the High Elf magic newbie armour

On Karana server they average between 10-20pp per scale, and drop very rarely off the drakelings. My ranger killed something like 50-60 of the little green buggers before she got her lone scale; however when my rogue came over from Qeynos to see how the kelethin armor compared, he managed to get 2 pristine scales in the course of killing 6 drakelings. It's all in how lucky you are.

I find them both East & West of Orc Hill. You can also find them between Orc Hill & Crushbone.
