I remember him. I was exploring Shadeweaver's Thicket for the first time, and I walked into his cave, he showed up and before I could even get a good look, I was back in PoK. I'll get my revenge one day.
At 54 and a mage with a water pet and cleric merc I took the whole room at once. I targeted Jynhadar first and gave him my biggest dd and just worked on him till dead then took the others one by one and used AE as well. I was oom by end of battle but it was doable

Helped a level 49 Cleric take him down. I charmed one of the guys around him and sicced it on him while stacking chants. Cleric was the only one who got summoned and smacked around. Dropped cash and no robe. =(

Wow... a lot of people seemed to have problems with him... I whooped him in like 3 minutes. DoT, pet and super nuke... hello... not too hard.
This guys hard, w/o any buffs / mana thast is. Was lb at 64, Summoned, got everything but Scorpion Venmon to stick on him, nothing dropped.

Was soloing him last night (66 Paladin) and he was Light Blue to me. Able to hit him with all my stuns (even Cease) in order to interupt his gate. Other than that fairly easy. Although he did drop something new, Staff Shard of Luclin. Next time I go I will check out the tunnel to see what the mob at the end is.
I've killed this guy twice now with my 62 warrior. Both times I was able to single pull him with my bow by standing as far away as my bow's range would allow. I haven't been summoned by him but then again I never tried to run from him. He has around 10000 hp, (9982 is what I parsed actually). He hit me with a 600 point nuke twice during the fight and the highest he melee'd for was 123, the thing that does the most damage is his damage shield though, if I would have used 1Hs weapons instead of my 2H axe then the damage shield would have eaten me alive. Out of 2 kills he's only dropped 1 set of Mud Burrower Legs.

I've killed him a couple times more since this last post but just thought I'd add that he does indeed summon, and he will gate when low. Wasn't meaning to say that the people who said he summoned were wrong, I just hadn't wandered far enough away previously =)

If anyone gets ambushed by this guy all you have to do to escape his wrath is run your butt back out of the cave, he will summon you whenever he feels like it but summons and general chasing will stop once you get out of the cave entrance.
I sat outside the entrance looking him in the eyes for 2 minutes before I figured he'd lost interest in me and started nuking him. Died no loot typical.

Can be slowed, immune to pacification, immune to changes in run speed, immune to mez and summons and probably only about 30k hp.
btw the tunnel behind it does not go anywhere and it hits for about...well im not sure...only hit me once for 86 and i have LR5 and CS2

Actually, the tunnel behind him leads to a White conned mob at 65.

I heard it drops you right into one of the tunnels in Umbral.
What were they thinking making this entrance?

Dropped Mud Burrower Legs today, Feb 11, 2004. Did not have a dmg shield on him, did try to cast gate. Was not immune to stuns. 1%aa on a 63 paladin.

I dropped in this weekend with my 56 Necro and he was DB and scowling to me. His associates were DB and indifferent. I was just scouting the zone and didn't try to take him.

He's not immune to high level stuns, my top 2 stuns never fail to land. Took about 25 kills for robe to drop.

there are no faction hits for killin him I am a lvl 60 shaman and me a 65 and a 55 killed him np but was still DB to me at 60

I am a 65 necro and he is still DB to me. Anyone know what level he really is? I almost had to chain heal my pet to keep him alive. I could only land 2 dots on him the entire fight (resistant little bugger) and overall it took almost 2 mins to kill him.

I am a 58th Beasty on TP server. I could solo pull the guardians and then Jynhadar. He unfortunately got a gate off at 2% health, pet chased him, pet died, and 4 guards (repopped during the battle) came chasing me. I lived, but was glad i could greater heal myself on the way to PC.
That lava gets pretty deep back there behind him, I bet when they put the zone in it will be an under lava zone just like KK. Hopefully this next expansion will fill in a lot of those broken zone lines such as the one under the kejek village in Stonebrunt, the one in the wall in Stonebrunt, the one behind Master Yael in The hole, and this one.

heh on whimsey i went invis and ran behind him, to the lava. the tunnel goes below the lava, but i ran into it anyway... it ended rather abruptly, no surprises, no secrets no nothing... was very disappointing.
Ok well I was looking at this guy earlier today, he conned scowling but all his buddies were indifferent. I invised and ran past him and stood in the lava knee deep (didn't take lava dmg) then cast Harm Shield and swam my ogre butt off to the end of the tunnel that had nothing, absolutely nothing, tried it twice, clicked on everything I saw, nothing. Someone else was saying that there is a circle near him that if you clicked it it would say you did not have the key. Well anyone got an idea what key is needed? Or here's an idea, any enchanters tried Fire Elemental Illusion? Maybe he gives a quest for them to get a key, or maybe he'll still be scowling. Man its just weird... gotta be something behind it.........

He's guarding a zone i think is called Firewall Keep or something? its one of those zones like veksar that is meant to be put in eventually. Think the zone is home to the Tro jegi alien guys and such. So you were right on about there being a zone here in the future.
Edit: After looking at the names of the guards i assume i made a mistake and the name of the zone is Firefall keep ;p

I suppose this is identical to the door behind Master Yael in the Hole where there's nothing behind it either. I guess the programmers made the passageway so they can use it as a zoneline for a future expansion, in case there's ever a new zone linked to Shadeweaver's.

I'm not really sure what this guy is here for, and I'm not going to speculate. I was helping retrieve a friends corpse behind him in the lava. He sees invis, summons, immune to fear , stun, and movement changes (snare and root). However, despite all this, easily killed by 62 cleric w/ pet and 50 druid casting Banish Summoned or Ice. Also used damage shield while cleric tanked. It hit me (druid) for about 100 each time, but i resisted his blaze DD w/ 78 Fire Resist. Overall not too bad. dont forget to have a succor memd :P No loot on this guy, some mud burrower legs i think, and some pp. that sucked.

1:Your target is immune to the stun portion of your spell. Not always so.
I land a six second stun on this guy, I get that message, but his casting is interupted, and he stops moving for six seconds, hmm...
2:Summoning interupts spellcasting.
How friggin' lame is that? Stun him, back off a bit, stun again, back up even more for distance, long lasting stun, and prepare greatest nuke... .25 seconds before cast goes off..

3:Mages get some kind of dot.
Didn't even have time to check it, but my life kept going down even though I was kind of holding him still, and I saw a red-bordered (bad spell) on my buff window of a thundercloud shooting lightning.. That couldn't be good...
4:He's only interested in protecting whatever is behind him.
Yup, that's right.. When I started losing, I decided to panic, even though I knew I couldn't outrun him, I was going to try. He kept summoning me as I ran away, even though I had divine aura up. As we reached the tunnel leading back out of the cave, I decided to make my last stand. I slapped him with another sound of force, turned around, backed up a bit, gave myself a quick heal.... And watched as he retreated back into his lil cavern, back to his guards, and sat there..
Some information, if anyone ever decided to take him on solo. (But don't be a cleric, there's your first piece of advice)

Elemental maelstrom is one mage dot. Not sure if there are others.

Was single pulling the little red guys and this guy popped. He conned indiff so I wasn't concerned with him. Went to pull one more little red guy, and guess who came with him? That's right! Well, he summons, he casts a nasty fire dd that did around 500 dmg to me and he has some decent hp. Got him down to around 3/4 hp and then ... blow out!
