This mob is more of annoying than hard cuase of his Mark of Darkness ability (it turn each hsi hit into 200 point lifetap- and makes him a WHILE to kill). I know many guilds who simply skip killing him. The Blobs on 2nd floor thankfuly do not have this ability

Kaas Thox xi ans Dyek = Black Blood of the Earth.
Didn't see this mentioned anywhere else, but he is unslowable. He does not quad as stated below, he triples.

This dropped from Kaas Thox Xi Ans Dyek though, and I suspect (but can't confirm) that the person who reported it dropping from the other one had the two confused.

How you figure that out? It'd be cool to see translations of all the mobs in VT if in fact you aren't making this up...

What would you rather have? Incorrect info thrown up here by someone that's never been? Or hard facts from someone that's been there, seen and killed the mob at hand? Your choice.. some people actually use these websites to find mob and loot info.. but instead you managed to ruin that by insulting everyone with 12 year old antics and passing judgement on people you don't even know.. /shrug But if that makes you feel good.. to each his own.

Yeah, who cares if the loot isn't good enough for Uber losers? I certainly don't. I still get excited when stuff in Sebilis and Karnor's drops. People like FoH ruin this game. Now, we understand that you're all fat losers with no hopes of ever seeing any type of sexual satisfaction, or any career goals set above being a cart shagger at K-Mart, but don't take that out on us. Maybe if you would do something besides play EQ from wake up until bed time, and slam down triple decker cheese uber pizza while picking your chronic acne, your life would be satisfying enough that you wouldn't have to constantly slam the Developers of a game that DESPITE the fact that you PLAY ALL DAY EVERY DAY, you still continue to WHINE about.

Blob is one of the first mobs in Vex Thal and he is no where near Aten Ha Ra.. as for his loot.. most if not all has been upgraded by VI, so Allakhazams needs to upgrade the stats/pics. And hps.. 10 to 50k? Hah! Try more like 100 to 500k. It's at least a 15 minute fight for 40 people. I can do 20k-40k dmg easily in 10 minutes.
And what the hell does a 37 chanter know about VT anyway.. seems to be nothing.

Kaas Thox Xi Aten Ha Ra is the blob near Aten Ha Ra.. there are actually 2 of them in separate rooms across from each other. And it's a much smaller goo than the one above.

He's the first important named you'll hit in Vex Thal, and yes he is a humungous goo, if you can't tell from the picture. There's two mini-bosses before him that aren't that important, so he is the first real boss you'll fight. As of this point his loot is pretty substandard for the zone, except for a couple items. He casts an unresistable gravity flux, so fighting him is a blast, literally.

We just call him "the big poo" on Brell.. or some have grown to love the guy by calling him "Mr. Hanky" but whichever you prefer is fine. ;)
Yea he is a very large goo monster.. he takes up the whole room pretty much. Quite the fun fight since he G-fluxes you to the ceiling. ;)

I do believe it's that gigantic goo type beast with the eyestalks flying about... Kinda hard to make out in the picture, but the way the name hovers over the puddle portion I'd say that's what it is...
