Hierophant Granix does not see through invis, but I do believe he is Scaled Mystic faction so he will scowl ready to attack you if your faction is inappropriate which is generally the case if you are not an iksar. However, I think they made a change something with the way a few of the guildmasters behave and he doesnt seem to agro even though he is scowling.

He scowls at me ready to attack as a wood elf ranger with maxed Scaled Mystics, Legion of Cabilis, Cabilis Residents, Crusaders of Greenmist, and Swift Tails. If he's on one of those factions, then no amount of faction will make him friendly with me.

This guy see thru Invis, anyone moving thru invis'd stay clear. He will also often attack Illusioned Enchanters.
