This guy is a spawn during the Grimling wars, unsure about the time frame he spawns in the event. He spawns on the right hand- side of the caves between two rocks. I believe this is where the Packleader normally is located. He does not summon, but runs at FTSS (Faster Than SoW Speed). Has a fairly high MR, Snare and Root will stick, but with much difficulty.

today he droped for me 2 peices of meat, the earring, and 2 small pieces of acrylia, so yes he will drop acrylia for you...owlbears owned south and NW camps )

Entered HM today morning and saw the grimlings alreadz got the Owlbear cave. Killed a name there and help them to take over the Sonic Wolfes caves in the resulting attack.
I can confirm a 12 min timer, Tribal Packleader is PH ... saw him 11 times before finally the 12nd spawn poped Grurn. He dropped the Owlbear Feathers Spear for me.
Edit: came back 2 hours later. After 6 PH i got the spawn and 2 time later again. Dropped spear and drum.

just dropped an AC 3 drum secondary only item...have no idea the value...called a stretched skin drum.
Drum is 1 of 4 parts to collection quest in POP. reward is "Fine Antique Amice" AC+7 DEX+5 CHA+5 focus Effect: Enhancement Haste II all/all

The drum is a Bard instrument, better than Combine Drums. Testing is showing it's slightly better than Mistmoore Battle Drums, roughly 20 to 25 percent increast to Drum Song. The 3AC is a nice bonus: most instruments at this level don't have stat bonuses.

ok, i play a 52 necro, and i took this guy down 20 mins ago. All i did was make up a pet outside the cave, then single pull grimlings outside, and let my pet tear em up. cleared a path to this guy, who was in the back right part of the cave, hidded behind a rock. I checked before i made a pet, went in invis. anyways, for some reason, this guy resisted PE twice, and darkness 3 times. this was pretty annoying, cause after he was almost dead, he started to haul ass out of the cave, and i wasnt sure my pet was gonna be able to catch him, but eventually, Jobober managed to smack him a good one, and stunned him, then he just finished him off easily as the chief said something about getting revenge. Dropped the bracer for me. stats are ac5 sta4 wis 4 svf 10 svp 5 insta click enduring breath.all/all.woohoo, my first rt clicky toy i found myself. after this i went to the main grimlings camp and killed the chief there, but he didnt have diddly squat on him.

This guy is a 12 minute spawn. I camped him for about an hour and a half and saw him twice. He dropped the spear and the earring. The earring is VERY nice.

Anyone Know how to trigger this war so you can get him to spawn?
I'm not sure how the war actually gets started, but once it is, you have to help the Grimlings to take over the wolf caves. When the Grimlings attack the wolves kill all the sonic wolf defenders and the Grims will take over...

The Place holder for this guy is named Tribal Pack Leader. The spawn time is 13-15 minutes.
He also drops:
