Took a group of:
Level 14's: Enchanter, Shaman, Druid, Warrior, Cleric
Level 15: Necromancer
all untwinked.
The group was able to handle single sporlings with no trouble. Two sporling pulls were a bit more exciting but manageable. The Netherbian drones were manageable on single or double pulls if the druid and/or necro could get snare/darkness to land to prevent the dying mob fleeing and bringing friends. About a blue bubble of xp per character per kill.

Well I just spent the past few hours camping farming these things and no pearl shard drop but a rune of Al'kabor dropped which isn't listed the more I play and the more I look to Allakazahm or this page for infor the more errors and false information I find

some con lightblue to my 22 beastlord
Conned dark blue to my ranger at 16... so I said what the hell and proceeded to attack it. Warning... these guys are serious undercons. It began by punching me in the head for like 60 then gave me a savage beating. I then hauled ass to the zone where I then cried like a little girl. Moral... be careful for these guys at or around 16.

I have killed dozens and have not seen one drop anything. Lots of gold and some plat to loot but no armor. They do regen very fast so watch out

I looted a hand to hand weapon off of one of these called the Khaliz's Khata. I was pretty sure it was a Sporeling but I'm not sure. Furthermore, some of these conned light blue to me 22 warrior.

sporlings do drop spore coverd armor peaces i got the hood just the other day of one of them.

Actually the sporlings don't drop anything at all, but they do drop some real nice pp. Highest that I've looted is 4pp and change. The armor drops off of the "a Fungoid" and "a Fungoid Worker" and "a Mature Fungoid". the sporelings just drop cash.
