for all you mages looking for the epic quest item "power of earth" it drops in the farie camp.... so just kill everything in the farie camp and you should get it )

I can't seem to find these guys? Do they spawn in any particular area, or random through the whole zone? I need the Power of Earth for my mage epic quest. So far, all I've gotten in this zone is killed by brownies.

in the first hour or two when these suckers first appeared on Torv. server during the GM event I looted a cracked piece of bone or something like that. Basically it is a nodrop piercer with an ungodly ratio like 5 32 I think. HOWEVER I do keep this with me because it procs fear , so its useful for reverse kiting, never seen a warrior do that have ya? Well I thought I would just mention this because I dont think it drops anymore and most likely anyone high enuf to kill one of these would detroy it or not even loot it cause its crap so perhaps im the only one in Norrath who has one? that would be kinda cool even tho im quitting EQ for Mimiseis. www.thgate.com ! (trust me, if your corpse decayed prematurely and you always seem to camp at the end of the day with less xp than you started and have lost 4 levels you would quit EQ too)

I hear these guys are supose to drop the Power Of Earth for the Mage Epic. They start hiding when I get to LFAY or what? Can't find one anywhere.

Yes Wu's Fists of Majestry DID drop in LFAY. was a GM invent on Rodcet and i found one on a corpse, and gave it to Grashopa. even ask him. ask ANY body that went to the GM event. im serious and there WAS a 16/22 weapon dropped which can be quested in PoA. also, GMs specifically placed 2 of them

Does anyone know if Invis works on these things? I couldn't get more than halfway through LF without have at least one of these things attack me. I kill one with a full mana dump, then the next one attacks!
My pets are tired of sacrificing themselves so I can gate!

to me at 37. They still aggro though and hit for the indicated amount. They go down after a min or so of fighting depending on what you use of course. Being a paladin with Ghoulbane and having Expulse Undead memmed, these things dont have a chance while I get dust.

I disagree that the guards are the toughest, as the Horrors harm touch for 140-180 :).

THe guards are easily the toughest. THey con red to me at lvl 21. I never got that close becasue they are all over the place and they are social. The one I did run into gathered about a dozen of his buddies before I got to the GFay zone.
As if the Brownies weren't enough, we now have a new menace. I recommend extreme caution
