can't even get to the coords they're up a side of mountain and don't make sense.

Kazzel may be found walking kinda sorta east-west (it's a diagonal crooked line and he warps if he hits a tree) between (NEG 270, NEG 1960) and (NEG 632, NEG 1558). He also pauses up on a ridge at (NEG 512, NEG 938) but he doesn't hang there very long. If you mark the two endpoints, you should find him making his way along the segment.
If you suck at finding things based on loc coords, then try the following:
Take the Gukta PoK book to Rathe Mountains.
From the book, head east until you hit the wall.
Follow that wall north and around to the east, and keep following it until you reach a camp of undead at some stone ruins.
If you go almost directly north of that camp, but keep the camp very clearly in view, you will eventually see Kazzel because one of his two endpoints parks him there.
This is the undead camp where Ytrys the Reborn spawns, for what that's worth.
If you get to the Feerot zone line, you went *way* too far.

He can be found in the South East portion of Rathe Mountains. He is wandering around between the areas numbered 22, 23 & 24 at this EQ Atlas map of the Rathe Mountains:

anyone know how to get this Freak to spawn i need to do my quest but befor i did some people killed him right in front of me :( any info on spawn would help

I killed him today. I nuked Kazzel three times and in the meantime, my lvl 45 pet killed his pet. A bit later Kezzel died. He was blue to me and dropped a grey robe for necros. It was funny.

I'm lvl 37 (was anyway) warrior and he conned yellow to me. I was with a 43 Pally and 2 31 level others. He wiped us out in no time. The only reason I attacked was he was yellow to me at 37. That was bogus!

I was in Rathe the other night and had him on track. I was level 49 and he was yellow to me, so I estimate 50 is the correct level. What is he for anyway? And who is KOS to him?

I can now say for sure that he´s Lv 50, cause he was at even con to me when i found the dude accidentally.

My Level 52 Cleric friend had it con blue to him, so according to the other post, this guy is either level 49 or 50 =)

His level is wrong. I had him on track and he was yellow to a lvl 48 druid. I'd say he was level 50
