killed him today with my shammy pet, he dropped words of energy.
this guy is a push over, my 61 shaman pet solo'd no slow on him and no buffs on pet.

This mob has more than the 5k hit points people mention below. I solo'd him today with my 56 Necro, as I was in the area and thought I'd try for fun.
I cast Cascading Darkness on him three times, although 3rd was still running when he went down, so lets call that 2.5k. I cast CoC on him twice, so 2k and EB on him twice, 2.4k. He also took a little pet damage when low health, but nothing to write home about. In my book, that gives him near 7k health.
People talk about the other mob down there (Mentax Mountainbone) as having 8k health, so could be they're more on a par with each other. It's worth noting that Mentax didn't agro when I pulled, and they both con dark blue to 56th.
The bracelet is a floor pop, its called 'Kromdul Bracelet' Magic, Lore, NO DROP, Class: Monk. Race: Iksar Human. I picked it up without agroing, easy - its near the right hand corner at the bottom of the ramp. (Yes, I know I can't use it, but I was the only person in zone, and its the only way to look at it to post full details <smiles>).
I guess I was a little luckier than others with the loot, he dropped 'Words of Domination', no cash, and the exp wasn't all that great.

Ok a Kromdul Bracelet may have popped in the place that I rooted him or he may have dropped it while he was dying but i looted the bracelet off the ground after he died --- is monk only hum / iks no drop
its on the grond prior to his being there we killed him twice a lvl52 paly and a 46 druid right as he poped the bag was there too but not all that close to him. i think he might just be a trigger for the bag if its not there.
Sleep is a sugestion, just like speed limits.

just killed this dude, 52 monky and a 53 drood for heals. dude has a good amout of HP and he did not drop squat. figured i had never been down this road b4 so i took the tunnel to the end and he was just standing there waiting to be bashed :).

I got Howlingbear's Tunic ac 16 wis/int 20 sta + 8 str + 7 sv all + 10 cha - 40 effect : FT 2 All/All. Unlikely. Magelo lists no such item; no one I know of has seen such an item. Furthermore... This guy has been here since Kunark launch, FT was added when they revamped Fear.
But lets ignore the effect. And AC 16, wis 20 bp is better than the Wuoshi breastplate, which was supposed to be the new standard for high wis gear with early Velious. Even if we pretended that this got added to his loot table recently ... anything that dropped an item like this would be farmed 24/7/365.
This guy does not drop this tunic, or anything else. I suppose I should be thankful that people feel the need to put such insane stats on the items they make up - it makes it easier to prove that they are lying.

soloed him today conned red to my lvl 47 druid, only got 1 blue of exp and not even 1 copper in loot so dont waste your time on him.

just for kicks....Myself (42 dru), 48 rogue, 35 chanter (clarity and pet), 34 lvl cleric, 32 lvl mage (pet) took a shot at 'em... using the druid kite method Druid tries to snare this MoB and It's on... ran around in circles for about 5 min took out the first... nothing

On the 16Oct01, 51 ranger, 50 ranger, and 49 cleric tackled this guy. He was lvl 50 and menthrax also was lvl 50.
He hits for 159 and double attacks :-((

This guy was blue at 51 and was only hitting in the 70s but he has a ton of hp. i am a 51 sk and was with a 40 druid. we got him to about 60 and had to train out because of his massive amount of hp.

He conned blue to me at 55 I am a chanter and hit him for over 3000DMg and still came back for more... There is a second giant there and does not agro when engage ... I just want to take him down for kicks !!

Tried him out last night as it seemed a fun thing to do. He conned blue to me at lvl 52. Dont know what he drops yet as I could not finish him off due to constant adds. He's going down tonight as I'm gathering a few friends to help.

According to zone shouts he is level 50 and will only aggro if you engage a giant near him.
