Aglthin's Fishing Pole
AleUm, I don't know where the hell you got your locations from but his location is 373.87, -1675.08, 19.03. There is a little penninsula jutting out into the water and he is standing there... and there is only one of him, that person talking about two probably had a glitch.
He "scowls at me, ready to attack," but I am standing in the exact same spot he is to get location and he does not attack.

His Location is pos 461, neg 461. Dropped pole immediately. Waiting for respawn. Also dropped an ale. Yum.

My faction hits were exactly the same as listed above.

This mob appears to be on a 10 minute timeer.

If you check the listing for "the Fisherman" quest (for Necros), the faction hits are exactly the opposite of those listed here. Which is correct? Or does the ('good') faction gained from killing him get reversed by turning in the fishing rod per the quest?

With the addition of foucus effects his rod (insert joke here) now gives a +2% moddifer to your fishing skill. The rod can still break like any other (insert seccond joke here)

i have had a fishing rod for 20 Lv's and i fish everyday and it has never broke can they brake?

He droped a fishing rod for me on 1/16/02.
It was called Aglthin's fishing pole or something like that. It had the stats skill mod:+2% to fishing skill. He was very easy and gave no faction hit so it was well worth the time.

He is on Heretic faction. His con changed the same as my Heretic con/faction did. You will not get a faction adjustment when killing him. Aghast 16 SHD on Vazaelle

he has NO fraction and no spell ability..he is a outcast sk and is for quest ... give fishing pole to guy in sk guild in painell...Antus Shebra

No fraction hits that is and lvl 10 i think is a bit high more like lvl 7-8 and he dies ez then hehe

His fishing rod is for a quest for necros, bring the fishing rod to someone and they will give you a staff, +1 int 6/34 or such.

I came acrossed him last night as my Human Magi, I am only a lvl 10, and was not finding anything to kill to get XP... I sent in my Earth pet, with flame shield and took him out like yesterdays Trash... it took my pet about 15 sec. and left him with about 75% health. Not a hard kill, and I got XP, but what is the span time on him??... I enjoyed killing him...lol

i am a lvl 20 wizzy and all it took was 1 nuke (force shock, 171 damage), to reduce this npc to a grease spot in no time flat.

When I was level threeish and exploring the river in Toxx, I must have gotten too close to this guy, as I suddenly found myself fighting off two of him. I didn't last long, and was never able to recover that corpse. (They killed me a couple more times before I finally gave up.)
So, now that I am a teleporting wizzy, I am taking revenge for that incident. He spawns at p460, n460, which (unfortunately for him) is directly on line between the wizard spires and the city of Erudin. He is almost always doubled. Each one has approxiamtely 225 hit points. There is no faction for killing him. In addition to the fishing pole he always drops an ale, which I have used almost exclusively to bring up my alcohol tolerance.
In conclusion: there are almost always 2 of him, they hit for 25 or so, the fishing pole can be used for fishing and will break, (at least you don't have to buy it) and free beer.

I was told that the fishing rod that Aglthin Dasmore drops was unbreakable, but sadly this is not the case, as I managed to break it on the fourth cast.
