This guy was brought to 9% of hit points when he gated back in the temple. Once their, the cleric healed him and he summoned us one at a time...Ouch :(

Ummm, we just smoked this guy with 4 people, 65 Chanter pacify'd the mobs ot it, I ran in (65 Shaman) Slowd it first try, ran it out to us and we killed it with a 64 druid and 65 mage.

Also 2 poped behind us by wall.. And got 2 cleric adds. We got one named down and 1 cleric and other giants, but a cleric and the other one gated.. woot me I was the first to be summoned!!! Fun corpse run.. o and after that we got more adds..eventually we died was fun for a while but when I was doubled for 360's and stuff it sucked..

I have started the Ralgyn's Promise quest and need to get this guy, can he be pulled single once clearing the protectors of zek?? I am hoping to go back into the arena this weekend and take this guy out, and advice on how to split him from his guards would be apreciated.

You can also use Wake of T to pull him single if you dont have a monk or and SK.

They can be singled fairly easily by a high level SK. He snares one, all 3 come, and he feigns a good distance away and lets the unsnared 2 wander back to their spawn point. The snared one will just stand there unable to move. Once the other 2 are back at spawn point, SK stands (or has someone tag) and the snared one comes chugging for him, all alone. If snare is resisted, just fd, let em reset, and try again.
Also, the PoZs and the clerics and named inside can all be singled by any monk or SK without snare as long as they know the area very well. There are places you can fd that will cause one of the giants to pick a funky path back to his spawn point. Best way is to have someone tag the goofy one once it gets away from the others a bit. Or with more patience and savvy, the puller can split on his own. The key to pulling that area (imho) is just knowing the pathing and just getting a 'feel' for Arena.

Yes, he can be single pulled with two monks.. One pulls the PoZ's over to the right side of the door.. keeps agro on them while other monk pulls this guy out. We just dropped him about 5 mins ago with only two groups. He hits pretty hard, but took him out no problem and with no deaths. He dropped gaunts of iron tactics, Idol, and teachings. right after this we pulled Bjork or whatever his name is that drops scepter of mastery, and our other monk got it.. =)

I found out what the idols this guy drops is for.
They are for a realy great Tunare follower only PoG quest bracer.

As for info on this guy. He is found in the arena area behind the 3 protectors of zek behind that door... If you turn left after killing the 3 protectors you will find this guy and his 2 cleric guards. If you turn right you will find his twin Semkak Prophet of Vallon who drops the other idols for this quest.
Pulling them single was tough but possible since all 3 are casters and one or 2 may cast on the initial pull but the spawn time of the protectors of zek is a little fast and makes things pressed for time.

Some people have told me arena area? And this thread suggests Tormax area? Where his he? General area would be nice, specific details would be great. A location would also help :)

Gkrean ALWAYS cons yellow to me at 58. He is either 59 or 60. I don't know which, maybe he spawns at either, but he is NEVER 58 and NEVER 61+.

He /cons red to a L60 so he's at least L63. A tough fight even with 3-4 groups of 50+s and no adds because he complete heals - treat him like the PoZs and his twin Semkak, and at low health get all your tanks on one side and PUSH to disrupt his casting. Be a good idea to get your chanters sieving him too ;)
He also drops Teachings of Gkrean for the quest Ralgyn's Promise (starts in Skyshrine - reward is Circlet of the Falinkan).

3-4 groups? Laf. Downed him like a chump with 3 groups. I'm sure we could've done it with just 2. If you're not high 50s or 60 you shouldn't be hunting tormax area anyway. Just my 2cp.

Major ass kicker, hell usually come with 1 or 2 priests if you dont pull him correctly, wiped out my first raid into kael of 40 people, then we came back the following week and showed him the door to giant hell (a dwarven pub)

He was no pushover, but he did drop me a nice pair of Gauntlets of Iron Tactics AC2 SRT/DEX/WIS +7 CHA-5. we had about 25ish level 55+ on the raid.
