Tunare  

An interesting encounter to say the least.

I ran over with my bard alt to get Nature's Melody and dropped on the second pop. Managed to solo with merc healer up no problem.

Recommendations :-
:- Burn Tunare as soon as possible before too many adds arrive.
:- Train adds away from corpse as soon as possible (cover tracks, blur etc), then i ran bard in to loot.
:- If you cant train the million adds away and you have to fight them, i would recommend you sit on a mount from the start to avoid the spell interruptions and knockback even though they surround you.

Took about 15 minutes to kill all the adds and when done i used /tar tunare's corpse rather than use /hidecorpse looted as it would take ages to find the corpse you need amongst the many to cloose from.

Faction is all messed up now, even when invised you get aggro, but not really an issue in todays game.

Figured I would see if I could attack tunar right away without clearing any of the zone.

Went well, took awhile. Called a rog friend to come kill the little brownies that have a billion hps.

Got two belts of her, was a nice score. Trying to get the snare 1hb, maybe next time.

Well I just tried soloing her withought killing anything in the zone and I fded at 30% and she was at 40% I had about 300 adds it was pretty fun but thre is no way to even cast my epic 2.0 for a heal way to many hits next time I will try with some healing pots and that will probably be a success.
If I had killed even 1/4 of the zone it would have been cake but EVERYTHING comes to help her named mobs etc... lol I should have taken some screen shots

Anyone got any info on the spawn timer? Is it a timed spawn or a triggered spawn?

After being aggro'd, she respawns at +1600 -250 in a large open area. If not engaged in about 15 minutes, she will despawn from that location (the field), and respawn in her tree. She can be respawned in the field by aggroing her in the tree.

Additional information you might be interested in:

Duo'd her with a 80 monk / 80 shaman.
Monk had 16.5k HP / 3050 AC, max defensive AA's, improved dodge III, improved block II, 8% dodge mod, 14% shielding.

Fight lasted approx. 27 minutes.
Tunare flurried 189 times.
Majority of her hits landed between 149 and 909.
27% of her hits landed for 149.
Average DPS Tunare put out for the fight was 135.
Total damage done BY Tunare: 213,304
Total damage done TO Tunare: 798,271

Upon aggro, Tunare calls to every loyal creature in the zone to assist her. When she does this, you see this message:
"Tunare Shouts 'Inhabitents of the forests, come to my side!'
All mobs in the zone then WALK quickly to her, and then assist her, and attack people on her aggro list. Once there is nobody on her aggro list, they walk back to their respective areas in the zone.

Tunare is highly resistant; she resisted Lassitude 100% of the time. I was able to land Puma / DD procs on her with Malo.
Tunare CASTS Vengeance of the Glades (this is unresistable, and is a single target 1 minute duration root. She kept me perma rooted with this root, but it can be removed with radiant cure).
Tunare PROCS Power of the Forests (this is resistable, and has a knockback component).

She dropped 2 Sap Encrusted Branches, 1 Petrified Heartwood Flamberge, 1 Essence of Nature, and 2 BP's (shaman and rogue).

I am a 53 pally who follows Tunare. I was thinking of running around this place. I was wondering if i would be KoS to anything in this zone.

What's the respawn time on the mobs in the zone?

why can't you just area mez all the adds instead of having to clear whole zone???

How hard does she hit and about how much hp?

took this naughty girl down the other day with 7 people on the karana server. lvl 66 Ranger,Lvl 66 Druid, 70 Warrior (epic 2.0), 70 cleric, 70 wizzy, 70 enchanter, and another 70 warrior. she dropped 2x petrified Heartwood Flamberge, braid of golden hair, sorcerer's robe, sap encrusted branch, and some rogue chestplate that i do not see listed on the loot list. took us 12 hours total cause we had to clear zone b4 we engaged, we did it all for the belt.....no belt dropped

Does anyone have a strat to taking her down? Do you still have to clear the whole zone then kill her?

Just so you all know, she coned red to lvl 65. So she is higher than 66 as it states. She flurries alot and also casts a DoT as well as the root.

this has probably been asked before, but I don't really want to peruse all of these pages to find the answer. Are pallies of any race KoS here? I'd like to go here for exploratory purposes once I'm high enough, but since I'm a semi-roleplayer, I'd rather not kill anything unless it attacked me first.

Killed her today with 42 people average level 64. Was a 5 minute fight, shammys couldnt land slow, but bard was able to slow her. She flurries alot, doesnt rampage or enrage.

Dropped Essence, Natures melody, braid of golden hair and fist of nature (and 2 of the pog bps that rotted).

Clearing PoG took us 4 hours and was the most dumbifying eq experience ever for me.

does anyone have a link to a NEWer photo of her like with the Shadows of Luclin graphical changes that is if she has changes. I always tho shed have a cool staff hey look she does COOL!

Does she say anything if you hail her? Just wondering having a wood elf ranger not high enough to check...

I took my High Elf cleric to the Planes of Growth when it first came out with the now-predictable result of becoming KoS in my home town of Felwithe. Once I became KoS, I figured what the hey, and grouped there enough to become max KoS to Clerics of Tunare, Faydark's Champions, Soldiers of Tunare and Servants of Tunare.

I have successfully raised my Clerics of Tunare faction from max KoS to amiable. It took ages but it can be done. Here's how:

Go to Lesser Faydark and find the Dark Elf camp on the zone wall. Kill the Priestess (light blue to a 65) and the two Teir'Dal Prophets (green to a 65) -- only those three in that camp will raise your Clerics of Tunare faction. Kill the others if you want to or are bored, I sure did often enough. Oh and do keep your eyes open for the Pained Unicorn in LFay, since you are now KoS to that as well (pesky Soldiers of Tunare faction).

Allakhazam's lists one other mob in the game you can kill to raise Clerics of Tunare faction, but I never bothered with her since she is in Najena and is only one mob.

The DEs take about an hour to repop, so in the meantime, run to Crushbone and assist all the low levels killing there, so you can raise your Champions of Faydark faction. This will take a long time since they are all so low level but hey, there's lots of them and they just keep coming.

I have worked on this for about 2 months, killing the DEs, killing or PL-ing in Crushbone. Sunday I got to indifferent with my cleric guildmaster, so now I am doing the bone quest as well as still killing the DEs.

My plan (hope) is that by maxing out the Clerics of Tunare, the Faydark Champions and King Tearis Thex factions, I will be able to do the muffin quest with Pandos. As of Sunday, he was still scowling, ready to attack me -- I've maxed out King Tearis, am amiable to Clerics of Tunare, warmly to Faydark's Champions and alas, deeply KoS to Servants of Tunare.

If maxing out those three factions doesn't work for me, then my final step will be to kill the Mature Arboreans and the Arborean Saplings -- those are the only two mobs I can kill that will raise the Soldiers of Tunare faction. They are very low level, and have no static spawn point so that would really be a long painful process.

BTW, Allakhazam's is incorrect, killing the Arborean Sproutings does not increase your Soldiers of Tunare faction, in fact you get no faction hit of any kind.

I will say to those of you who howl that it serves us right for messing up our faction in PoG that as far as I know, this is the ONLY set of factions impossible to fix -- I can never ever repair my Servants of Tunare faction. I am unaware of any other faction situation like that in the game. And we sure didn't know that when Velious first came out.

I just want to know how to fix faction. Tunare is my diety and i want to fix it.

For all of the people who follow Tunare and have problems killing their Goddess I have listed some nifty alternatives in the posts under the Earing info. This deals primarily with Cultural Armour and the wis that it increases.
