Alright,
I decided to finish my enchanters epic. Rolled in here and realized that this place was much too big to be finding and killing names one by one.
I found the place holders spawn in and around the wizards spire on the red and black square there. Unfortunately, there are a LOT of placeholders.. at least in my case.
There are tons of named mobs around, keep killing them. I killed dozens of Guardians and wandering wurms. It wouldn't spawn at all. Finally I saw a lava walker... it was stuck at the bottom of the volcano. I ended up swimming down and killed it in the lava, 3 place holders later She spawned.
*** warning ** I couldn't remember what gems to give her (super lazy here), so I started turning in my gems on by one.. She will eat them. Make sure you have the right one, or you'll be like me, making another trip to FV.
A very annoying camp all in all.

Hours so far, no spawn.... I have no idea how long this is gonna take.. This named sucks..
EDIT: After about 2 days (About 10 hours of camping) she finally popped!! Gave her the sapphire and gated. I left guardian of felia up this time... Might help her pop :)

So i decided today is the day im getting this sapphire charmed. ive been trying once or twice a month alone 4 about 3 months now lol. Well today I got help from a nice ranger on povar by the name of Naeuvane. We together tracked the ph I followed her of course she tracked on ranger.mobs added like insane and I killed the ph. The Farie of Dismay was what popped Felia Goldenwing for me. IO agree this is a pita. I definitly recomend bringing help to clear the trash. Once I charmed Felia I got my gem turned in charmed and away we went. Thank you agin Naeuvane.

I knew that if you killed 'certain' named, she would pop. I killed two Guardians of Felia and one Faerie of Dismay and there she was on the next pop. Thank goodness the respawn time isn't long.

Took a really, really long time of killing the named to get Felia Goldenwing to spawn. I completely lost track of how many named were killed! Luckily, a nice Ranger, Kinidill, came over and helped out. Instead of me running around like a chicken with its head cut off. Even so, it still took a while for Goldenwing to spawn. And, on first charm turn-in she did not accept it but the second she did. Spawned around the VP area

Tracking this with my ranger today. You can add "a mottled wyvern" to the list of names in the cycle. Also "Guarian of Felia" is on the cycle. I will post any mor mobs I see in the cycle.

Did not take tooooooooo long to spawn her but took a bit. Camped on the farside of the volcano next to the wizzy spires. Just killed anything that moved and she came by so fast I missed her the first time! Watch adds when you charm her and hand in the right jewel! I did get a lot of gems and spells killing trash ensuring I killed any potential place holders. Basically if I could see it, I went for it.

All you need is yourself and a tracker to do this. I myself (66 ench) teamed with a 62 ench from guild as well as a 57 ranger. In total it took about 1hr and 30min and both of us were able to do the turn in with the same spawn.

for the last 5 hrs of the day we even left felias guardian up and she still never popped. my druid never had her on track and the druids skill can track the whole zone(we know because we sen he to the far reaches and left me on the other end).
There is one glitch to this i can see we couldnt get the lava walker, couldnt get it on target at all swam in lava and couldnt find him had see invis on and couldnt find him. wondering if it's random or if it may have something to do with this lava walker in particular.?
But on the other hand after reading all these posts I think it boils down to another cruel joke by sony: "let's see how much we can frusterate them"

Whole slew of named on the same cycle... Try taking off invis and sitting in the lava where mob is tracked to. Sometimes they go underground as well, you could try the hotkey to target nearest mob as well, dispell is a good long reach typically.
Never had issues with these named spawning.

After killing PH's for days that Bienbonita talks about. Still no luck, anything change to spawn Felia?

Another chanty and I was after Felia, both have put in days trying to get Felia to spawn, well tonight we both decided to let the Guardian of Felia stay alive, and killed afew other PH's, and what do you know, Felia Goldenwing spawned at the Wizard Portal. Dont know if luck, or if Guardian of Felia has to be up to spawn Felia. Hope this might help. Safe and Happy Huntings to all.
she popped for me exactly west of wizard portal and middle of zone, she attacked my pet, so I had to dispatch her. she popped after about 3 hours of clearing stuff for a couple pearl drops for cleric epic. hope this helps.
with a guild group clearing mass ammounts of mobs in very large trains of 50+ mobs, also while running around tracking for the named was having all kinds of fun for the first hour or 2 but .. 7 hours is ridiculous for this spawn cycle,

There can only be two of any of the nameds up at any time, and they are sometimes hard to find. Any of the nameds can be on either cycle. One cycle has a 30-sec delay, the other has about a 1 min respawn delay.
The nameds drop spells more frequently and more rare in nature than other mobs in the zone.

She is a very tricky pull when she spawns because she tends to hang around a lot of mobs, and she has to be led back to a safe spot for a chanter to charm her and turn in an item to her. The Guardian of Felia is supposed to somehow be tied into "protecting" her.
One of the best ways to pull nameds is to have a tracker use invis to get to the mob. For example a Ranger can pull any of the nameds from anywhere by being invis, waiting until it's clear, then shooting an arrow using a long-range bow and then running back to the group at the BW zone.

I was lucky to get find some 70's to help me spawn her. I would say it took about 2 hrs. I was about to give up on her until a ranger zoned in and was kind enough to see if she was up. He tracked her to Loc -3315, 742 near the Wizard Succor point. Charmed her, she enchanted gem and 3rd Epic Piece complete. Thank you for all your help.

Me, a ranger friend and his 70 Mage brother camped Felia for 5 hours one night. Didnt spawn once.
They leave, and I gate, and am AFK in PoK when I get a tell that says she's up. At least i got a tell when I was afk. When I got back to find the tell window open, the tell-er was gone.
So I go back tonight, and we're camping it. I'm telling everyone in zone that i'm looking for Felia Goldenwing and to NOT KILL HER. So another 5 hours goes by and we're killing everything, not just PH's. Including the Fabled PH, the Fabled Black Scar.
Finally I see in a tell, "Felia up". I'm freaking out. There are 5 /ooc's about Felia, and I tell my ranger friend to train her to me.
In she comes, i'm just hoping that she doesnt get killed by another npc but they didnt even look twice at her and my ranger pulled her all the way from the Lava pool.
All of the posts are acurate [except for the people talking out of their (_|_)]. Its just a matter of time before she shows up. Stay patient and bring a tracker, and hope someone else is in zone with you to slaughter everything in sight. She'll show up.
Oh yeah, and dont forget the gem.

Camped the Boneyard tonight for a couple hours killing named as they popped. Druid tracker would catch the name killed the gaurdian of Feliea, Black Scar and Farie of Dismay at least three times each no spawn. Will try again but this is almost as bad as the hate drop/////

I finally got this name to spawn near BW zone.1-25-05 5:00pm est. GOD what a pain to make her spawn.. All i did was kill the names/mobs listed below. and when i didnt see them spawn for a few min i headed to VP zone to see if she was around there. and on my way back to to BW to make my round none other than Felia Goldenwing is standing there. I was like u B**** .. so i pulled her to BW and charmed with my chanter... CAKE

Ok guys,
I have been hunting here for 3 weeks looking for this mob, and here are my observations thus far:
Named Cycle: Non existant. I have has 3 wandering wurms pop one right after another, or blackscar followed by a wurm spirit, ECT. I dunno who came up with the cycle, but FYI, it doesn't work.
Goldwing: In three wweeks I have not even seen this mob. Its getting kind of sad. I always thought the test of charm would be a sinch, silly me lol

Cycle or not, I killed all the mentioned mobs near the BW zone, boneyard area. Soon as I killed one another would spawn almost immediatley. Did see more than one up at a time. All of them spawned in this area. About 90 mins Felia spawned, easy to spot as she is a 'small' chromo.

Ok, I posted this and logged on. After 10 minutes and having killed yhe wandering wurm 4 times (chain spawn?) i looked to my right and saw none other than felia gold wing flying out of the GY. I just about peed myself! After 10 seconds of "I got you you little bastard" charmed her, and handed her the gem. pretty uneventful, but i got it =)

I was in SF last night to camp Felia after procrastinating for ages. I was with a few friends and we had no trouble pulling the mobs on the named cycle (thanks for the post on the list!), but I did want to mention one thing. froni has mentioned in his/her post that only one named may be up at a time during the cycles. This is not true, as I discovered last night. Our ranger had pulled Black Scar and upon inc., I happened to turn around and saw a chromodrac flying rather quickly up the side of the hill by the boneyard. Toggle NPC indicated it was Felia Goldenwing, and I just about flipped. I ran after her (she's sow'd, the wench!), charmed her, handed her the sapphire, and all was well.
Sooo...it is possible for more than one named to be up at any time, it seems. Unless it was just fluke. Either way, this Enchantress is one step closer to completing her 1.0 and is not complaining *wink*

Three days ago I was hoping for Felia. To my despair Guardian of Felia was up on track. I fretted over needing help to go through the cursed cycle. Next mob that poped after the kill of the Guardian, was Felia Goldenwing!
I did find both at the laval lake in NW corner. The charm hand in was easy since I pulled to the zone wall before I charmed.
Killing like mad close to the lava lake seems like a good idea.

I play a 65 dru. My boyfriend plays a 65 enc. When Felia (finally) spawned, I tagged her with a debuff, clicked Innate Camo, and pulled her to a clear area near the druid-port in (no mobs). Since Felia was already aggro'd on me, it was easy for my boyfriend's enc to charm her and do the turn-in. (Hope this strategy helps).

After 6 hours of clearing the named cycle at BW zone, I finally got a wild hair and sent our drood around zone tracking. Found Felia up in the north central part of zone all by herself..
Felia aggro'd on me and a friend when we were camping for pearlescent shards by the VP zone. So it's true that she's not necessarily by the BW zone. However I think one or two of the spawn points for names in SF is down in that area so it's still a useful camp if you're worried about wandering and aggroing a bunch of mobs.

After many weeks of checking everyday for hours on end I finally devised a plan to getting Felia. I always managed to see quite a few named in the bone yard by the wizard portal but I was always by myself and it was a pain to try and solo the named with all the adds you can get in that area which is when it dawned on me to charm the named. Make sure you have a mem wipe spell up (I was 61 so I had boggle) and charm the named mob and send them after multiple mobs letting the zone trash take care of it for you then just mem wipe them as they come to you. I managed to luck out and on my first try charmed a Guardian of Felia and had Felia Goldenwing pop immediately after he went down. She did NOT pop in the bone yard but closer to the druid portal and moved through the bone yard. Just be patient and she will eventually wander away from mobs enough to charm her and do turn in. Good luck!

Maybe this will help someone - there are actually 4 named cycles running at a time but only one of each of the named critters can exist at a time. We spent a lot of time (it was fun) running the two named cycles in the south without any luck having Felia spawn - because she was already out in one of the northern cycles.
If you work a single cycle 3 mobs won't show up in it because they are already out in the other parts of zone. So you may need to go exploring for her, she was outside of ranger tracking from the BW triangle.

I might miss one but the named cycle includes: a soul devourer, a wandering wurm, a wurm spirit, a lava walker, Black Scar, Faerie of Dismay, Guardian of Felia, and Felia Goldenwing.
I can confirm this, but with the addition of "a shadow drake" to the list.
I was looking for the list and didn't see it the first time I looked because it was typed all on one line. So here's a 'Named' list in a format that I think will stand out more:

We did the Enchanter Epic turn in in Skyfire today. Some hints. We started doing the named cycle. They all spawn near a small lake of lava in the northeast corner of the zone. The named are "a soul devourer" "a wurm spirit" "wandering worm" " Guardian of Felia" "Black Scar" "lava walker" "Faerie of Dismay" and finally Felia Goldenwing. All of them spawn at exactly the same spot except for Felia Goldenwing and she spawned at the bone yard near the wizard portal spot. We probably spawned about 10 of the named before Felia popped. Charmed and turned in, no problem. We did it with 62 enchanter, 58 druid and 63 Ranger, which was a lot of overkill, but made it easy. Good luck.

I have been fighting in SF for a couple of weeks off and on now. I have seen her up every couple of days and I have seen her up at the same time a Guardian of Felia was up. I did notice that she spawned shortly after Black Scar was killed.

I have no problem with other mobs killing her, what upsets me is the ppls killing her so enchanters cant turn in the gem for epic.

For the enchanter epic, my understanding is that other mobs in the area will kill her if they see her although I don't know that this is true. I was just doing some reading to prepare to go to Skyfire and wait her out for my epic. Anyone know if she is a static spawn or a roamer? What's spawn loc?

Other mobs will kill her if she is charmed, but this happens to most mobs in most places anyways, due to agro, if you have bad faction. Don't know if this is the case though.

FYI I beleive she only gets attacked when charmed as she was hiding beside a MoB I pulled the other night and joined in the frey along with the Wyvern that I pulled. Sry to say but we had to kill her or be killed. Was a fun fight though 8)

Anyone have any idea exactly where near BW zone she spawns? and anyone remember what her PH is?
This mob is a druid. He root, dot and fire nuke like a mofo. Don't even think about soloing him unless you can keep him feared..

Did this mob with just a tracker for my enchanter epic. Walked up to him invis, cast charm, turn in dull saphire .... viola!!! He does not aggro after turn in so we didn't even fight him, just ported out =)

Ok, my lvl 47 Necro is my highest lvl char, an i havnt really fought many " Caster " Mobs. But my Question is: When a MOB " Dispells " you .... Does it dispell ur Buffs from the First Buff to the last ?
I mean if i throw up Junk Buffs first and then my good buffs an get SOW as my last buff, would SOW and my GOOD Buffs still get DISPELLED ?
After hearing all these " I got Dispelled " stories I load my buffs like this now .... Junks first then Good Buffs, and always ask for SOW last when i go up against a Caster Mob.

But this mob also has a good chance at dropping many high level spells that are needed for many classes. Therefore it is sought out by many other then just the enchanters. I just spent 5 hours in SF with my wife trying to get her 54 mage pet spell killing standard wurms/mature wurms/wyverns/drakes etc to no avail. So if by chance I see this one up, you can guarentee it will be pulled. And before you flame on it, tell me the last time ya saw an enchanter shouting "Hey I have this such and such 55+ spell that anyone here in the zone can have if they need it". Epic mob does not make it worthless to others, just more of a hassle to the epic hunter.
Stuff like that is why when I'm looking for a certain MOB in a zone, I always speak to other hunters in the area about my intentions, or if it's something that could be anywhere in the zone I /ooc every 10-15 minutes what I'm looking for. In either case, I always ask if they would mind holding off on a kill until I can arrive to do my intended quest part, then they can beat 'em up all day for all I care. *shrug*

This is the best way to go about it. I am an enchanter, but I also understand that this zone is a bounty for 50+ spells, more than most zones. But a simple ooc can 1. let folks know what you are doing, and what you need them to do(as stated in an above post). and 2. find the mob quicker and get the turn in done. Unless we drag a tracker with us or use one already in the zone it makes the turn in much harder.
I am not this far into my epic, but hope that people would be a little more considerate to others. Its not hard for a chanter to charm, turn in, break charm, mezz, mind swipe and let you have at it. I get my gem, you get your spell(if it drops) and we all go home happy.

I agree here, In this case the Chanter just has to:
charm the mob
Hand in a "gem"
Recieve a "gem" back
and then the "hunter" can take out the mob.
All Epic mobs can be hunted but there is no reason other than a mistake or acting childish for the hunter to not let a chanter complete this.

She has to be charmed for the Ench epic, so if you see her up you might wana tell a ench buddy of your's.

fought this mob killed my friend 49 wiz while pulling he got rooted i resisted everything she threw at me except a nuke for 302 damn rooted my pet so i had to stand near my pet while he beat the little one to death threw in about 6 shock of swords wasnt to bad once she got off me and back to the pet

This mob will outrun you with jboots.. and possibly SoW. Good thing is, it usually stops and trys to root you. I suggest throwing on some magic resist gear right quick when ya pull this sucka. Getting rooted in the middle of SF is something you would rather not experiance.

good idea to regrow yourself before pulling this, and pull with snare from afar, because getting sow/form of the howler dispelled in the middle of skyfire sucks slightly.
root dot and med up and repeat.. too easy but worth the time if you get a decent spell.

Okie, heres the info on this mob. Will root you quickly, then pursue to DoT (creeping crud), or nuke with fire. Very fast mob, so a snare for a druid to kill is needed. Use Resist magic and fire to avoid most roots and lower nukes. Drops spells sometimes like all the other named mobs, Faily tough to kill, but not as many HP as other mobs.
