I am trying to raise my Truespirit faction so gave him the note but he would not take the 1k plat from me, even after saying "What are you searching for".
-1158, -11 in the Vastly Inn upstairs. Turning in 1k plat for Truespirit faction hits, no longer works... Unless your doing the Wizard 1.0 and are at that specific point.

I get he spawns either after 36 or 72 hours (mixed reports) but when exactly does he despawn? Reading about the wizard epic quest he does not seem to despawn after handing him anything so that's what made me curious.

anyone know when this guy does spawn how long he stays up?
Spent 92k going from Indifferent to Ally today 7/29/2007.
Just an FYI 1000 plat turn ins still raise faction i spent 40k and went from kindly to ally hopefully I can skip a few non needed steps now will let ya know when i find out

From the posts I see here and the fact that I have been to see him 3 times and he wasnt there could Sony have done anything to make this harder?
If Camin has a 36+ hr respawn time that seems ridiculuos for an NPC that you just have to talk to. I was also told he was on a 17 hr respawn timer as well.
I have started going to Erudin on Thursday this past week at lvl 49, no Camin. Thought it might be lvl restricted so tried again today at lvl 50 and lvl 51 and still no Camin.
Did an /ooc and no one said they had seen him recently.
Is this broke or is it contrary?
Can anyone confirm what kind of timer he is on if any?

This does roughly correspond with a 72 hr respawn time after a server reset. Major patch was done Thursday morning.
Just thought I would let you know and I also know of 3 Wizards doing their Epics 1.0 at the same time. Good luck to the others in finding their mobs, I am sure it will be "fun?".

I just got to where Camin should be and hes down. No clue how long hes been down and have camped him for about 3hr's. If any one knows what time he was last used even if you give me like noon of some day, it will help.
Is the respawn really 36 hrs?

omg that is stupid, why did they make it spawn so long. LAME. how am i supposed to know when he spawns? I have to sleep some time!!

Is that true about the respawn rate for 36hrs is that game hours or real time hrs if rt then that sux and they should do something about it. Please anyone give me info so i can continue my epic quest. thank you

Well this sux why did verant make him have a 36 hour spawn time? Thas plain stupid. like i want to be camping this ugly lil room. Is there nothin To do to make him spawn sooner?

About to start my sk epic and may need to raise faction with TS, I may have lowered it by killing Joshua in WFP when i was young and seeking easy exp before i really knew anything about faction..it never gave a faction hit when i killed him tho....
My question is does running these notes still raise TSfaction or should i kill the guy in Temple of Sol Ro?

After you give Camin the leter and you get the faction up
he still will not talk to me..
Should I give him the 1k or not ..
I would rather not eat the 1k plat so ..
Should I waste my time trying to figure out how to get faction ..
or should I just try the 1k and hope for the best.
I have herd both sides saying yes do it or no don't..
is thare any confurmed NO you will loose the cash.
and if so what is a easy way to get my faction up?

I went to Camin and coned him and he was apprehensively so I handed him 1000pp and he still coned the same... do I have to keep doing this? I'm going to loose a ton of money this way

I also wasn't sure whether to give him the plat. He conned apprehensive to me, I gave him the note, and asked "what are you searching for?". He said "Oh look...a talking lump of refuse...how novel." I almost nuked him, but handed over the money instead (crossing fingers). It worked! Quest continues!

Well I gave to note to camin and then hailed him..he said go away...so I sat down..and flipped a coin..and it was tails I was to give him the 1k plat anyway and try my luck...IT WORKED!
I was sweating bullets..but it did work..and I got more truespirit faction and he finished talking to me as if I was ok in the 1st place..so yes guys and gals it does work this way...WHOOT!

I don't know if the quest works if he won't talk to you, I do know the 1,000 PP SURE isn't worth losing so before I handed him in the money I made sure he would talk to me. This is how I did it. I got the assistance of a druid and an enchanter. The druid stayed with me, and the chanter stayed at the camp site. We went to Butcherblock Mountains and killed Peg Leg (VERY easy at our levels, and should be by the time you need to undertake this). When the wolf spirit thing spawned the chanter charmed him. He would then speak to me. Just say "I wish to learn more" and he gives you a mini gem. Leave the chanter there to keep the spirit charmed. Druid and I went to N. Freeport to the tunnels and turned in the gem to the shaman NPC. Positive TrueSpirit faction adjustment. Bind. Druid port to BB, talk to spirit, gate, hand in gem, repeat. I did it 6 times and Camin will now speak to me. Only problem is...after I collected the money to give to him I don't know where he went :(

I gave the note. no faction. I hailed and he ssaid 'Go away! I have no time for you!". I said 'What are you searching for?' (per graffe) and he said "Is that your BREATH? - Leave my presence!". Now what? should I risk the 1kpp?

I went to where he was supposed to be at the Vasty Deep Inn, and he wasn't there. Does he have a certain spawn time? Or is he supposed to always be there? I have seen no posts on this. I waited a full eq day to see if he had a certain spawn time in one day, but no spawnage. Please help if you know anything more about this NPC. Thanks

He's level 50, and giving him the quest items raises truespirit faction.

By the way, giving him the note from Solomen no longer raises truespirit faction. Just hand him the note, and then 1kplats, even if he won't talk to you.
