ON your map, directly west of wizard spires, (west of the orcs too), close to the west wall (north of the LDoN camp, loc 939.24, -259.56, 45.08
This is where he spawned, right in front of me, after I cleared the sand giant camp twice. (There was 11 sand giants).

Hello all:
I took down Cazel down tonight was easy since im high lvl over him but it took a hour of killing Sand gaints and then after killing the namer gaint Cazel popped up on track. it says that he could spawn in 2 hrs or 23. i tryed to spawn him again, its been more then a couple of hours so far and no Cazel just killed namer again and no cazel.

OK, had my 65 warrior ( 12 aa's & no time gear etc.. 9300hps & 1432 ac) running to south ro to farm sand giants and burn up the remaining time on my conviction. I spotted Cazel standing just north of the wayferer's camp and thought he was just another named sand giant( like Gregan the overseer or Husam). I saw the LB con and thought...wow i will actually get exp for this one. I didn't worry too much since all the other sand giants were cake. It wasn't long after I engaged him that I realized this was no ordinary sand giant. I was swinging my Edge of Envelopment for all I was worth and watching my hps going down just as fast as his, only problem was that when I would pause to take a health pot his would go up as well. 5 minutes, 3 health pots, and a whole lot of frustration later he was at 15% health and started to run. I wish i had snare. He headed for the other sand giants and with me being at 20% health and waiting on the recast time on my health pots I didn't like this idea. I finally dropped him right before he reached them and all he was carrying was the spoon. His regen is insane, but my wife is happy to have the spoon for her chanter alt.

Where dose this guy spawn? perhaps the Sand Giant corner? where the ruins is with bout 13 Sand Giants? possible PH is the Sand Giants maybe? i wonder bout these questions and hope i can get replies....

I was wandering around Oasis on my 69 chanty with my 59 rogue friend, looking to spawn the Ghoul of Takish-Hiz. This guy was up and I kept going around him because I figured he'd be a pain to kill.

Well, he finally started to get on my nerves. Hasted up my pet with Salik's and the rogue with Vallon's. Pulled him with a slow which he did not resist. Kept him good and mad at me by chain-nuking Psychosis while the rogue backstabbed the bejeebers out of him.

It took me about 2 minutes to kill him. He was a serious joke. Slowed, his damage was laughable. He went through one ethereal rune on me (1950 dmg). I casted a second one and he was dead before it wore off.

The rogue wields his epic and a Soulpiercer. His dps (without backstabs) + my pet's was about equal to Cazel's regen. A backstab or nuke would then make a noticeable dent in his hps.

Rogue and I are NOT time or even elemental geared. We both are holding epics and wearing a bunch of stuff bought from the bazaar. So if you're a higher level person don't be afraid of this guy. Just bring DPS with you. :)

Ran across him with my wife (58 shammy) and my Wizzy alt (53)
His regen is so high that Bane of Nife and shammy Epic dot barely covered that.
Between her pet and my nukes we took him down but it took a while and he did run but not till 10% health. A 1000ish HP DMG nuke does 1-2% damage to him I am no math wiz but that = TOO many hp LOL
Passed spoon off to Wifes Chanter alt.

Dropped him while waiting for corpses to pop outside an LDoN. 65 Ranger (me) tanked, naked 66 Shaman slowed, 69 Cleric healed and nuked. I remember when this guy was uber...

To the people who need information on him, he is really easy. Get a good healer (62-70) and warrior (60-70) and fill the rest with a druid, necro, pally, and yourself :) Good luck!

I bought the spoon in the bazaar for 1k. There were others for 4k and 5k.

Depending on price and your opportunities, you may just want to take the fast path and buy your way through this requirement.

I just solot him on sol ro ; he was easy for a 65 Magi. Just summon you Servant of Marr with pet set and full buffed.

Pet attack on cazel, Malosinia, Servant of Ro.

After that i waiting for cazel hp down at 90% and i beggin to cast firebolt of Tallon and Planer renewal for the pet. I just altern the 2 spells till Cazel down.

I was lucky on this try by doing 2 critics at 4500 (that help).

He drop : a Spoon, Lambent Stone and Golden Earring.

Could in ne way,shape or form a 55 shaman w/ maxed out wisdom and his 55 pet take down cazel using something like keep dottting him and running and having the pet follow behind and get him from behind and then when mana is low root him and back pet up and medd a sec (while dots are still on) please i really wanta kill this thing~!

On our way to LDoN, we past by 2 of him. They both where fighting each other. I'm guess that it was a bug, or a GM was bored or something

if doing chanter epic, cazel is a fun kill.
but often, you can just buy the spoon in the bazaar for a k or 2

Was running threw Oasis going to Sro to meet guild to go to a raid when out of no where this guy attacks me now i guess he spawned on me or whatnot but he was a fairly ez kill and i got to be a hero of the zone for other 6mins i was there lowbies left and right thanking me kinda felt like the God of Oasis or somthing. http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=710555

Cazel isn't as hard as some people want to think. Soloed him today, 60 bard. Takes a bit longer to wittle him down with no casters dd's but it is doable. OoS, snare, fear then just melee the guy down. If you get a SG add charm it and have em fight, then refear Cazel. Toss in dots to help counter the regen as well. Granted I am using epic when doing this.

When you calc his HP remember to add he regens 200per tic

First time I saw him. Conned blue to me at 52. Figured it was just another SG, with just a few more HPs. :P. I tryed various things on him, but couldnt get past his regen. Charm worked, as did all my dots, so he has low resists. My snare/slow worked, so both of those can work. He hit for a max of 212 on the other little orcs : ). Didnt see any quading. Never managed to get him below 98%, so dont know about enraging. Didnt summon me, so is based on which level one is up. Fear didnt seem to work, but I didnt get a resist or wont work message, so perhaps I wasnt close enough. Probably easy for a good root/rot group, but has hellacious regen.

Killed him with 2 people. 58 Epic Mage (Me) and a 55 enchanter.

I summoned up my pet, gave him a muzzle and BO4. Enchanter casted rune 5 on pet. I was at 80m and enchanter at 75M before we engaged. Didn't want to wait until FM since at the time no one else was engaged.

I sent in pet, debuffed with Malosini. Enchanter tashed and slowed him (slowing him makes his dmg output wussy).

Durning the fight the enchanter rune 5 my pet and nuked a few times. She also mezzed a couple trash mobs that thought it would be fun to bang on me. Think she runed pet 3-4 times. The pets melee DPS + 50point DMG shield was high enough to move his HP bar down, slowly thou. I started to cast shock of steel to make bigger dents on his HP. He doesn't seem to have really all that much HP, perhaps 10-15K (hard for me to figure with his regen)? Seemed like the fight lasted under 2 minutes.

Once he dropped enchanter was almost OOM and I still had 30M. Plus we both had rune 5 on ourselfs each having an unspent trod incase we each needed a quick extra 600mana HP free (rune 5 would have taken all the trod dmg).

My 60 necro friend with epic soloed him the other day. All he did was snare with epic, put a load of DOTS on him to stop regen and sent his pet in and feared. As soon as fear wore off he got summoned but just feared again and defluxed him. Took about 10 mins to kill.

Dont know where this site got its info from on Cazel, but i've camped Cazel for 3 days straight, only logged for when the server came down. It would seem that his spawn is a random timer of more than 24 hours. Whatever the case, I found the placeholders for the sand giants in Oasis. These ph's are: an asp, a madman, and a young ronin. I immagine that there are some other ph's that havent been found yet, but for the most part, these ph's spawn between 2 minutes and one hour. I figured that Cazel's spawn might be mized up in the timing of these spawns. Ive seen Cazel 3 times and they have all been during the day. Dont know if thats coinsidence or not. I'll leave that for u to figure out. Have fun =)

Cazel is a big kitty cat, took 7 of us ranging from lvl 43 up to get rid of him in about 4 minutes, don't know how many htpts he has but it is above average. Don't know what else to tell you other than, it can be accomplished rather easily. You guys have fun with him, you will be the saviors of Oasis for a day.
