Ok so I killed a bear 'Thumper' And this guy was a green con to an 80 ranger. He came out of NO WHERE! And he is uuber I tell you. lol He was kicking my a**.

Kithicor will not give you Hemisphere of blue metal for the 1.5 epic quest until you have completed the Shakey scarecrow line. Just thought I'd save a trip for anyone trying to get ahead of themselves.
(on a side note, I love how people bash others' posts on this forum from years earlier. Sure, it is easy for you to beat up on so and so mob in CoA gear or whatever the Alist stuff of the time is, especially at a level cap that is nearly 30 higher than when their post was written.. alot of the people you are making fun of wrote their difficulties down as far back as 1999. Check the date on their post before you make fun of it.)

was bored finding the epic 2.0 piece in kith and decided to kill him
max hit was 544 on max dfensive AA and 2k ac.
pretty easy fight although he had a lot of hp and the DS killed the lvl 68 sk pet within a minute or two.

Was running threw Kith to go to Rivervale to meet up with some friends and seen this guy on track went to take a look at him and saw he was a wood elf figured he was a ranger so i snared him and bow/dot kited him around got him to 10percent hp then zoned into rivervale wasnt gonna kill him because me being a ranger myself didnt want the faction hits no clue what he drops but since hes for a quest prolly nothing or just the item you get for doing the quest. http://www.magelo.com/eq_view_profile.html?num=710555

Conned even to me at 61 last night. It was a long fight, and it took 3 clerics oom on CHs. The other info here is accurate. He dropped a longbow, an arrow, and words of bondage. I'm almost scared to check my JPF/Surefall faction.
He drops Griffon Helm I believe, 9 ac 9 str 5 agi plate helm, for rangers and rogues along with wars bards blah blah blah...
I obtained one of these in a GM event also, very nice helm. Got 5k for it.

5k for a helm thats the same as a Helm of Rile....yeah right.
He's near a hut at n557,p1959. Center of zone east-west wise, a little bit south. Turn off green conning mobs and he should be easy to find.

Almost never any thing along the wall and if there is u get nuked for like 300 and then outrun em. i run thru there with no sow on my lvl 10 druid at night and am yet to die once through the many times ive run thru there. Also kithicor drops a kick ass arrows 18dmg arrows. Very nice for endless quiver. Pansie asses...

Well I go through Kith at night just for laughs. Wife does the snaring and i do the fearing, its easy exp, evean when wife isent there to save my ass its still good fun, i dont know why you all are scared. easy pansy skeletons. all my chars go threw, hell evean my lvl 3 druid when he was but a wee lad (and still is, for he is a halfling). good luck and fare journeys to all of you, where ever the wind may blow you.

This Guy has Nothing to do with the epic quests, Nor is he good for anything else other than Faction Hits. There was a raid i was in on the nameless about 20 level 60's were there He has LOW Resists so Our DOT's did wonders he doesnt have any Screwed up Regen or anything I lost the random but the guy who did get his sweet loot said he drops some high dollar ranger gear which some of it is no drop but the other stuff was like +20 WIS and stuff i couldnt care less because im warrior but im just letting you know

he hits just like the trainers from other classes(even druids double hiting 300-500ish) so you make him mad your dead his pet is like a druid pet con 30ish but you better not play with the little bear or ya dead. seen breina tree wispers pet take out hgs no sweat (of course breina had buffed him tho) was trying to get trained by Bre then of corse he broke off training me and doulbe hit the hg for more points than i have

Hi there lvl 25 ranger was srtollin throug h wood & got jumped by a bear...it was his. I killed the bear real quick two hits I was gone. After killin the bear he came after me so I rooted him & nuked him. He hit me 2 times with the bow but it did not do much dmg. After I ran out of mana I beat him down with my trusty sword & finished him off with a kick.

Man, you guys just need to get to know ol' Kith! He throws one hell of a party and can get wild when in the mood. I was at a party with him, next thing you know he's half naked hitting on some Ogre chick talking about "his wood" you know what I mean? You guys might have caught him when he was hung over or something...don't know what to tell you.

Well Met, I am a Wood Elf Ranger, and have been searching for the Reasons Kithicor (the NPC) is screwed as much as his forest?
Ive read through the EverQuest.com info and it doesent help at all (other than the War). So Im here asking about it.
And could someone tell me when exactly (in Game Terms) that war took place. Its important to a story line I'm involved in. Thanks Much

I was running through Kithicor at night when some Zobie Infantry jumped me (about two). I got completely lost, got turned around and low and behold, there he was. I figured him being a wood elf he would help me, he just stood there while I got slaughtered...I found my corpse when it got day out, but remember that when you are in Kithicor at night, and you get jumped, if you don't have a SOW you are screwed...

I got tagged with a disease in Kithicor while my sister was PLing me at zone while we were waiting for it to get light (yeah, even a 52 cleric doesn't go through Kithicor at night). Not sure how long the disease lasts, because I got it cured a few days later, but it's quite a while.

The short sword of morin is a ranger quest sword. You get it by killing the ghoul messenger in west karanas and looting some invasion plans. You give the plans to morin shadowbane and get the short sword of morin (6/22 with some stats, no drop). Still got mine in the bank, though I haven't used it for 15 levels.

Master Ranger Kithcor is for the Ranger only quested direct damage spell Call of Flames. The spell can be scribed at level 49 but cannot be quested til level 50.

He is THE Kithicor, you know, the guy the woods were named after? He is a lv 60+ NPC, who talks to noone, i am a ranger, hailed him, and no responce, he is a Ranger trainer that close to WC, for all i can tell, thats all hes good for.
