Killed him today in the jail area of Old Sebilis. The location is -460, 307, -67 which is the middle of the 3 spawn points in the little room past the iksar necromancers in their little cells(other two spawn points in the room are frogloks not beetles).
I have cleared the jail numerous times while wiping the upper floor of Old Sebilis for faction. I have not seen this mob much (maybe twice in 40 wipes to give an idea).
Dropped the staff of the waterwalker for me.

My group has killed Gangrenous Scarab about 30 or more times. It has been my experience that it will almost always drop four pieces of treasure, the Gangrenous Beetle Mask and the shoval seem to drop every time along with one of the other dropable loots, either Jaundice Bone Helm (common), Elder Spiritist's Helm (uncommon), or Staff of the Waterwalker (rare), and a gem or piece of jewelry. He commonly drops diamonds and sometimes blue diamonds. Never got a spell off this guy. He does summon for those who wish to solo it. He often has a Froglok Shaman (type varies) so expect it to be buffed and have haste which can make it a nasty opponent. It will try to leave when it's health is low and tries to go to the shooms below and will bring a train like none other should you allow it to escape.

/shurg Since 49 ive been having a realy hard time killing yellows/reds due to their hp and "Your target resisted your Dooming Darkness spell Your target resisted your XXX spell" i just run oom after a while heh. If everything landed you could do it but that might not happen.

Think about it, the best druid weapons are 2hb. Staff of waterwalker and earthcrafter are awesome and both, 2hb. But since a lot of people think that it doesn't do crap then just give all dem nice 2hb to me :)

10ac effect sup camo...thats right no wis on a druid helm and free low level camo hmm useless...does look ok though dark green chain helm look but overall not great

On tunare this guy dropped the mask twice in a row, our tank and I got one stats are 7 ac 5 str 5 dex 20 mana 10 vs disease.
