LV65 Ranger solo'd Overlord and one of his Royal guards tonight. Neither dropped anything. Bleh!

well i was killing the guards in paineel with my 60 warrior and one of the royal guards in overlords lair agrod on me, beat him down with 3 bubs left, had about 4500hp at the time so single they arent that bad, was thinking of trying the same thing to agro just one, then maybe the other then moving my 60 shaman in to help kill the overlord afterwards. will post if it works and if he drops anyting. btw, the guard didnt cast and didnt hit very hard but the overlord does cast, can see him casting while pulling the guards.

This guy's harm touch will blow the h**L right out of you ... it hits for 851 damage!! Not to mention that once you touch any of the Royal Guards or The Overlord...they all come for you ... Killing him is not ever going to be an easy task!

I helped kill Duriek Bloodpool the other day. lvl 55 something or other. good exp and something for the cleric epic weapon i guess.
