When you enter this building you will see the Shaman GM's in front of you. Turn around and you will see red blinking portals on either side of the entrance. If you take the left one it takes you to the platform you need to be on. Go up the small ladder and he is out on the balcony.

I still can't jump to the platform from the ladder:( I'm a new player trying to get to the shadow knight guildmaster. Why do they make is so hard for a new player to get there?
turn sideways and run along the top of the ladder (like 2 steps) then jump. Been years upon years since doing it, so don't remember if there is a ledge on the side.
Otherwise, go up ladder, turn around, and get a running jump after taking one step.
It's not easy at all if you just do a straight jump.
Have to get that one foostep headstart.

Arch Duke Xog does not attack you for being dubiously or so, he can attack if indifferently. Why? Because if you are non iksar and still KOS to necro, Librarian Zimor is the one to blame. He aggro you, making Arch Duke Xog go after you as well since he's next to him.

Chai is spot on, Librarian is on Brood of Kotiz faction (necros), and just before the good ol' Duke HT's you, you can normally read Librarian so and so begins to cast a spell. I even tried standing right in the corner.
I am an ogre and working the Brood of Kotiz, killing lots and lots of outcast iksar types. With iksar illusion I can lift my faction to ally with most factions but only move from scowling to threatening with the necros. That however is an improvement from scowling to scowling even with ikky illusion before I killed any outcasts.
I have handed in close to, if not more then 300 explorer knives to get to indifferent with most factions. Kotiz faction is unaffected by explorer knives. Traders are still dubious but the shovel guy would sell to me.
Oh well, the joys of being a RZ following ogre. Back to killing more iksar in WW for me.

A warning about this reptile: if you are dubious to Crusaders and non-Iskar, non-CT, do not be suprizied with the double HT for 1101.

agreed. as a DE SK (worshipping Innoruuk) and dubious to the Cursaders (as of 5 minutes earlier) I got killed in a heartbeat.

How do you get up to the platform to talk to him? I've run up the ladder from every angle I can manage, and still can't make the jump across.

I too landed on my lizard nose a number of times trying to make this jump. To do it, climb to the top of the ladder. Carefully turn until you are facing straight out. then hit in rapid succession, the jump key (usually space bar) and the forward arrow (up arrow). If you do this right, you are standing on the floor where you want to be. Note that hitting the arrow first does NOT work.

Creatures were over level 50 before Kunark, and now they're over level 60 in Kunark. It's to provide a challange for level 60 PC's, and make some guild masters nigh invunerable.

Actually, some NPC's and dragons are approximately lvl 75... can we say SLEEPER? Say it with me now... sleeper...
