He (the pet not the general) was sporting a weapon today (big sword). Was hoping to find the stats so I could see whether it was worth the risk to try dot kiting the pet (I ought to be able to kill the pet and gate before V'deers get's his claws into me...) Not worth the risk if it's the equivalent of FS.

Got him on me today...hitted me for 45 damage maximum.

At the time of this writing the pet is listed as min 35, max 35. I am currently a lvl 37 necro, and when I saw the general and his pet yesterday I got a yellow con. I'm not sure this makes a whole lot of difference since the pet will likely be the least of your worries if the general is aggroed on you :)
