Last night this guy killed my level 61 Enchanter. I had him sitting in a corner using him for Clarity, Never saw it coming. Then he whacks my level 36 Wizard. Whole thing was over in less than 10 seconds, no chance to run. Do not sit on the Ramp, Beware the Ramp, the Ramp!!!

Great...... So whats happening here is that these DE's are all the way in Kunark in a very profitable place. So, 1 question, (This could change that I could be walking into the place as happy as a guild that just pwned Trakanon or be as scared as a small group looking F2F with Kereafyrm) Is Venril Sathir Faction changeable for good races (I mean Can I get better faction with these damn guys) and If so, what can I kill that wont hurt faction with good races (Like Firona Vie faction) Thanks!

Getting Sick And Tired of Getting "Gooned". I think i would be the expert at their attacks by now, seeing as i am the only unfortunate Iksar who keeps falling victim to the DE Bastards. But I will Return when i Am level 55+ on Quellious and post a Raid on the Bastards. Would love To Put My Bastard Sword in ole V'Deer's Jerkins.

General can be 58 or 59. Was Yellow to my 57 druid. Would be red if he was ALWAYS 60.

Ok this is not easy. I waited while invis until 1 seperated from the pack. I tried snaring and rooting the goon late at night so I wouldn't train crowds of people. Each goon on seperate occasions resisted. No I didn't try the General just his sidekicks.
Either my level is too close to them or they have high MR. Took a few big hits and ran for the zone both times. I'll be back, goons.

This zone is awful for good races. I would like to point out that I think the level for this mob in incorrect. From what I know, the goons are closer to mid40s(although General is quite a bit higher). I tried to solo a Goon once with my 51 Paladin -- it conned blue(so it *could* have been 50, but i seriously doubt it). It was hitting hard, but I could have killed it and my equip isnt *that* nice(I still wear Ro boots and BP, although i have fbss, ACGS and deepwater everything else..helm too) -- I had to zone , though, b/c general aggroed when I was fighting him. My 33(almost 34, meaning Superior heal)cleric died last night b/c some idiot monk trained this guy to the FM zone, where my group was. I, of course died and could not find a rez, therefore losing a bunch of exp...grrrr :(

I am thinking of never coming to this horrid places again. I tried to level there twice and within 5 mins. each time goons killed me and I was unable to get a rez. I cannot wait til i am level 60 so I can repay all of em.

OK, first, if you're gonna warn people that you're training a goon to a zone (Skyfire in my case,) /shout it. That /ooc crap won't be considered as a life-threatening warning if you casually say it to the group you're cutting through while running up the ramp. Second, be careful if you try to make it to the SF zone line alive. Sometimes these bastards pop inside the hallways, for whatever reason. I can't wait to hit level 60 and drop a bomb on these guys.

zoned into ot from fm and he was waiting for me within a second due to zone lag he had me down to 3 bulbs of health by the time I turned around and zoned again I hap 40hp left,he hits very hard 140s

Tonight OT was way crowded near the ledges. Every once in awhile we would here "GOON". Well hearingthis so often I said /occ why dont all us ledge groups kick GOONS butt. Next thing you know some dude , Tigerblade i think , starts gathering players near FM around ledge to fight this punk. As it turns out aroud 2 1/2 to 3 groups of lvl 30s show up. The lvl 39 druid in my group pulls him and we all start wakin his butt. I bein main tank was takin some serious DMG.He hits for 140 or so and fast.Anyway after 5000-7000 pts of heals on me we took him out. I looted and all he had was a fine steel lond sword. Atleast we got our revenge!!

But that not the point, I took him head on and even landed 20pt hits. If only I had more hps. Anyway, 3 of his buddys showed up and even the 56 zoned. One a these days, I'll come whip his punk ass.

Full party of lvl 31-37 on the ledge, busy with two mobs when he comes out of nowhere and starts whaling away on our cleric. Never saw him coming. I'm oom (chanter), nothings gonna stick anyway; cleric is the leader and she calls zone. He got her, the main tank, and the bard too before we made it. I don't know how I made it to zone--I almost missed the FM valley, then passed the tank's body halfway down it--somehow he'd gotten ahead of me, killed her, and come back out while I was swinging wide right. Sometimes stupid is just lucky--if i'd gone straight-line, he'd have been on my heels when the tank dropped.
Moral of the story: if somebody shouts "Goon!" --pay attention.
