Me (a lvl 25 rogue) and my friend (a lvl 29 rogue) killed one of these things pretty quick. he had about half his life and i had a bubble, but i was only lvl 25. he only got one spell on me, and it was some nasty poison. didnt cast fear or anything
I avoid these at all costs. The loot isnt worth being feared and runnin into somethin nastier or their DoTs. I have good magic resists but I hate fightin them none the less. They dont drop anythin special, so they're just not worth messin with.

easiest way to kill them is stun and blast. I hate the fear they have. Even now, at 35 I avoid these things. They have a strong offensive spell base.

I think that they use SoP too. That or another spell that has the same message and similar damage. Darn Necros :)

These guys are cool to fight in a full group. Not as nasty as the rockchanters or dirtcallers in my experience, but be prepared for him to fear each of your party members one by one. Normally the first one he fears is back before the third one loses control of himself. Also pretty difficult to interrupt using stuns.

These aren't hard if you have an enchanter or cleric interrupting all their spells. Only spells I saw I got to see it cast was a slow spell, no big deal, and a rain spell (poison based I think). The rain spell seemed to do quite a bit of dmg to those within its area so have everyone or everyone but the primary tank ready to dodge the rain spell.
