Had a raid party of 24 toons/all level 70/super uber raid buffed and geared/he must have lasted at least 2 seconds.I suggest you do him with at least 60 toons minimum to kill him in under 1 sec.Hope this was useless as the other post here!

Is it possiable to kill this guy. I am a lvl 37 Berserker, and my friend is a lvl 55 Druid, we just got done killing Ulump Pujluk and saw this guy standing close to Ulump Pujluk corpse. He conned dark blue to me so I thought time to die little froggy. About twenty minutes later I was only down to 70%hp my friend was still at 100%hp, but Mr. Dugroz was still standing thier at 100% I had atleast hit him for 1,000 to 2,000 worth of damage.
So I wonder can he die??

Was checking for Dugroz today in SoNH, using the locs given and (later on) a Ranger to track...he was no up.
Anyone know if he has a spawn time? (there was a patch today so would be server up spawn time) Or, if he was killed, a respawn time?
No one I know has ever seen him not up, so this brings a point thinking it may be bugged atm (at least for me). Just want to get any information that I can.

Well, he just popped, about 10mins after this message. So looks like he could have about a 12hr spawn time (from server up) or some unknown respawn if someone killed him.

No one I know has ever seen him not up, so this brings a point thinking it may be bugged atm (at least for me). Just want to get any information that I can.

Easy quest 55 mancer here ~ owned xalgoz 50,000 times... drops those fangs evertime they suck also.... advisor is easy to let pet wax him and take his spear if he has wich is usually 50 pct of the time on vallon zek ~ cause i farm that spear alot! this dude was easy to find bc of your posts thx all! ps : conned even to 55 nec ~ and was at dubiously to me and my 46 paladin friend~ walked by him ~ ( stands near durgoz) but is very friendly hehe =D dont mess with him or hell wax you i promise...
Paladins own both of them, just chain stun and hit away, very easy :)

bunch of guildies where sittin around by the water when we seen him, since we where just sittin there figured why not, there where 7 of us 3 druids a war a shammy a magician, no spells landed on him but 1 DOT, and he did a complete heal after he loss one bub only hits for like 7 though maby we need more guildies

when he gives you a key he said something about "neckles of power that he took from his master". I was trying to "talk" to him to triger ?quest?, but he didnt responed to me.

Ulump Pujluk is the druid epic mob and he hangs around Dugroz. He hates anyone with invis on and hits for 100-250hp. Use sneak since NPCs don't take things from invis people anymore. Be safe doing this.

Ulump doesn't see invis. Went up and informed him that he would die when I get enough people to help me with my epic. Invised of course.

Dugroz has changed his location. If you go into the small cave near the TT zone, you will only find some nasty new KOS level 55 mobs called Black Ravengers. Dugroz's new location is in Swamp of No Hope near the froglok village at /loc -260, -1800, standing by himself. He still gives the quest as before.

I heard this guy was an ubba baddie. and droped lots of phat lewt! So I walked up der, and wacked him good because he wouldnt just give me the HS key. I had to do stuff, and stuff.
The point? Why the heck are people killing this guy? Hes not the druid epic mob, hes just a poor lonley froglok that hold yes "THE HS KEY". Quit killing him, he has absolutly nothing.

i went in look at this guy was green but named so i said hey might drop something good sent my pet in (52 mage) i cast my malosi did not stick at first so cast it agine and it did then i seen he was reganing life FAST! so i used nullify magic 3 or 4 times and got it off i think had to recast my pet 3 times tho with my DS on him each time but was not to hard he only droped some meat was like what a rip off no exp or good loot =\

ok i had a lot of trouble finding this guy, because the hole really is small. Entering into the tunnel to trak zone stay on the right. There seems to be 2 ledges, a lower one and an upper one. They merge alot, but when you find the hole it is from the upper ledge. The hole is just before that narrow passageway opens up into the wider cavern. if you enter the wider area you have gone to far. You might not see it the first time but eventually you will find it(it actualy looks pretty big once you have found it), and its easy from there, go straight than go left at the fork. You cant miss him. I killed the two froglok knights that were there(they each went down with one starfire). He didnt respond to a tell(visible and invisible, i was in wolf form too) but i risked it and turned them in anyways, and he gave me the key. Over all the entire quest took 3 hrs.

He's located inside of a cave. You will need to swim to the cave and then go up into an entrance on the right....then take a Left when you get to a fork...he's at the end:)

When we found him last night he was at loc 418, -4025 in the little cave next to the Trak Teeth zone. I came in invis at first, Hail, no resonse, so I came in and cleared the room. This seems to be the key, as he was indifferent the whole time and only responded once the other two froggies were dead. Turned in the parts, got the key, no problem.

hehhehehee. Ummm do you think it's possible that:
i)when you first went in you were invis and didn't get a response
ii)Once you had 'cleared the room' (and hence wasn't invis, unless you re-invised) enabled you to turn in the fang and the prod?
are somehow related?

This guy is the one who give the key to Howling stone so please just avoid killing it, people who have managed to have the 2 parts of the quest would rather finish the quest.

I am a lvl 49 rogue with a max BS of around 300 or so. A lvl 30 npc can withstand it, also, this guy is for a quest not to kill Mr. Anon

Me (51 Druid) and a 47th lev Iksar Monk tried to kill last night. Didn't work, RESISTED all my spells, all I could do was heal and Damage Sheild the monk. for 20min we fought him, everytime we noticed it took damage, it regened it a split second later. I beleive he is killable, just need to out damage his regen. (?)

I was able to use Lure of Frost to nuke him down pretty well. 640dmg did about 2/3 of his health, of course he regened it back very fast. This was while a 58 Pally friend tanked him. We were not able to kill him, because the recast time it took for another Lure he regened. I feel confident that 2 wizzies could take him out with 2 simultaneous Lures, if not on the first round then on the second.
The Pet died easily to a draught of fire. Fire and magic spells didnt effect him at all.
We had just finished our key quests and noticed he was wielding a Jade Prod ) so we tried it...

Iksar warriors bake and brew froglok poison as part of the Trooper scale pauldron quest. Has anybody tried giving this to him? It works great for the armor quest, but maybe it could be used here too.

Don't touch him. I charmed his pet against him. His mana bar also seems to be infinate. I assume he's a necro from the weight of the nukes he was tossing at me. Did 600 damage in about 30 seconds with his nukes.

Last night I charged into his room with a friend, and being the bullheaded warrior I was, I agreed to try to kill him. You guys know the story by now, but I did find something out in the wording a gm gave me about the mob when I asked if it was a bug. The GM said it is not a bug, you must do something before killing him, which suggests to me that there is a trick that needs to be found, maybe in the form of a quest, that once performed will make this mob vulnerable. I know that I will be looking for it, and once I find it, I'll be taking my vengeance out on the little bugger.

I got him down a little bit with a pet and me soloing him but he regens like mad and is 100% MR to boot. He is a big wuss but you have to hit fast as hell to get him down at all.

we tried me ( lv 57 troll shaman)i am kos whit him so we tried to charm him whit a lv 52 enchanter and he was not able to charm him he casted tashania line of spell first and charm and he resisted all of his mana he med to full and tried again but same result so we had to zone,he was not able to hurt me i regened for 40 a tick,

hello this mob is in the tunnel (near the trak, teeth zone)if you enter the tunnel from swamp check the wall at the right you will see a hole (it s about half way from the entrance and the iksar mobs inside,check closely it s a little bit hard to see,,good luck,

I had no trouble getting the key. I am a barb shaman and was dubious to him, I went up, went thru the quest and he offered me the quest. Gave him the prod and fang and got exp and the key

GM said it CANNOT bee killed, because it is a quest NPC. Hence, you did not kill it. Plz dont post untrue info.

I believe that ALL NPC's are killable (with a sufficient group). But, some NPC's will "poof" when killed (like merchants) and not give any XP either. This makes them unpopular to kill since there is no reward for killing them.

Who ever posted that quest npc's are "un-killable" is mistaken, a lvl 53 or so caster with a tank can camp the cenataurs that do the warriors Crafted armor quest, and get exp none the less.

Wolf form is reported to work in some cases, but has not worked for my lvl 54 ranger. It does seem to raise her faction to indifferent, but she still does not get the key. She has tried 3 times now at a cost of more than 4 real life days. I am not amused.

Me (51 Enchanter) and a 54 wizard killed this guy about 4 times he dosnt drop anything, all you need to di is hit him with about 1.5k damage at the same time

Does anyone know a way to figure out which faction group an NPC belongs to if it is invinceable? My primary character needs to raise faction with Durgoz but I can't think of a way for determining faction groups for an NPC short of killing it?
