Just killed him... her are his faction hits:

What quest is he for, he drops a Powder of Reanimation, he was really easy to kite, in wolf form, about 2510 hps, never casted on me, easy to root

Look under your Everquest folder, it should appear as a file named something like EQ00001 if it was the first one you took.

all you have to do is convert your pic to .jpeg format (File>Save As>files of type:jpeg)

Last night i was bored and red about this guy so decided to make him spawn. I got wolf form cause all the farmin druids in unrest seem to be nice. I gave him a LIGHTSTONE no fire beetle eyes crackheads. Then you get a little bad faction with good gnomes. This is one bad ghoul he hits for about 89 and double attacks. NO form of magic that i saw. I could not solo him by far just wanted to get a damn pic. Some druid killed him and that was that. My next ambition is shadowpincer please tell me if there really is such a damn thing.

This guy really annoys me. First he roots you, then he fears you so when the root wears off the fear is on and it doesn't make you run, its basically like a second root, then he nuked me and brought me down a bubble. After he nuked he rooted and feared me again. Not once did I see him. He just does the same thing over and over again. Root, fear, nuke, fear, root, fear... etc. The only way to get out is to run back down the stairs. Just keep pressing foward and everything will sooner or later wear off.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but uh.. ...why is everyone afraid to give the guy their fire beetle eye..? Not because of the abo spawning but why are others making it seem like the fire beetle eye is so rare lol.. unless it's a different type of fire beetle?

I gave him a firebeetle eye and nothing happened, no abombo anywhere, I searched all of unrest and heard no newbie screams. I then killed him since it was a ranger friends beetle eye :) I am a level 40 paladin and he hurt me pretty good, but I didn't have all my buffs up either.

A 39 Druid and I (I'm a 39 Cleric) were able to kill this guy pretty easily. We managed to catch him a few hours after someone had caused him to appear, so most of Unrest was cleared out. We brought him out to the yard and snared him, then traded off DD spells to get him to switch targets. He took about 3/4 my mana to kill, and most of my Expels didn't hit at full power. I don't know how much mana the druid used or how much damage he was usually doing.
The abomination is spawned by handing in a greater light stone to Khrix on the second floor of unrest, his spawn point is in the room right next to the reclusive ghoul magi room. Inside his room is one other spawn point, usually a carrion ghoul(though I'm told it can be the priest of najena) His appearance was that of a carrion ghoul. His level seemed to be about 40 as he conned blue at 45 and was also blue to my level 51 ranger friend, his max hits were for the high 80s-low 90s but not very consistently. Drops the powder of reanimation which I believe is for the Paineel dread forged shield quest.

The abomination is always lvl 38, looks like a ghoul and spawns immediately when you give a fire beetle eye to krixis who is hiding in a closet between the magi room and the priest spawn, the abomination has a good aggro range and will attack ppl in the magi room or the barkeep and kick there ass pretty quick, he doubles for a max of 89 a swing and bashes for 21 I think, a good group with an enchanter or a bard would get awesome exp since you can trigger him whenever, started to solo him at 39, he can resist like a bitch but its on and off, he also "teleports" at times, when he gets low on hp or you move too far away, I believe it has to do with the screwed up pathing in Unrest, twice he has joined a train and I found him at full hp at the zone when i had him down to 30% when he ported, when snared and he gets to around 10% he turns and runs making him an easy target to polish up thoses melee skills. Also he does not have any sort of ghoul root spell so no worries there. Commonly has fs on him and always has the powder of reanimation.

its a triggered spawn yes and its around high 30s to 40s. my group of mid 30s had trouble with him and that was with a lvl 49 wiz helping. also a 50 cleric had trouble with it (almost died) while trying to complete quest. only ppl after him are cleric mainly. and plz dont give khrix fire beetle eyes to let the abo. run a muck. its a very evil thing to do 8)

I have heard that this is a triggered spawn. Also that it is level 49. To trigger, give Khrix Fritchoff a fire beetle eye.

Wow i can't believe the number of people who haven't seen this guy, i saw2 him 4 times in 1 day in unrest. he is a huge pain, most everyone in unrest was about lvl 19-24 so no one could solo him, he was running amuck so all of us in the cauldron desided to bum rush him and he dropped without a casualty. There was about 20 of us. hehe

He is high 30's to low 40's as he was still very red to a 35 and a 36. He drops the powder of reanimation used for a new quest out of Paineel.
